Great park! My boys love to climb and this is one of their favorite parks to go to since there are so many things to climb on! The wooden logs with ropes to hang on to to balance, the giant eagle they can climb up inside of, the unique rope swing, and several hammocks give the kids plenty to do. And to top it off, (my personal favorite feature) the story trail- several post stations along the walking trail that features an entire book. Each post has two pages of the book displayed so the kids can read an entire book while walking (or running) the path. And even better, the featured book changes throughout the year. When I take my kids, usually start by telling them we have make it through the story trail and read the book, then their reward is getting to play on the playground!
Fantastic little park!! Close to the school and easy to park. The open bathrooms are a bonus. It is easy for police and parents to easily watch their kiddos as the open plan gives great viewpoints.
Right off the bike path - this is a fantastic neighborhood addition.
Another great addition to Westerville's park system. There are many things to do and the park is laid out well. There are three parts to the playground. The first is the Red Tail Hawk Nest. Kids can climb around the nest, inside the hawk, or go down the roller slides. The second area is the vernal pool where kids can explore nature. The third is the butterfly garden. Kids can climb on the butterfly and swing. It looks like a wheelchair swing is going to be added soon. There are also restrooms available.
Fun little place. Kids love to climb 🙌
Great place for kids! A children's story book is displayed page by page along the trail.
The new park is great. Our kids loved the sled riding hill, but make sure someone is at the bottom to stop little kids before they go into the creek! Also, hammocks in the summer are a great idea, but they need to be slightly more heavy duty to make it through the season. Overall, hammocks in a public park are awesome though!
This was a nice park if you're close by. Many things to do but I wouldn't necessarily recommend if you have very new toddlers because the majority of things to do are climbing equipment and activities better fit for 3yo and up. They do have a large set of swings, and a "car seat" swing.
This is a nice place to walk with a stroller. Lots of paved areas to access most of the park. I like the hammocks area, but they weren't the most comfortable.
Loved the storybook trail.
Good variety of climbing and sliding equipment for small kids and bigger children.
A group of boys enjoyed running around the open spaces and in the mud!
Bathrooms were very clean.
We will definitely visit again!

This is a large and busy park. It has about everything that you would want in a park. It has a fishing pond/lake, baseball diamonds, basketball courts, tennis courts, playground, shelter house, soccer fields, open fields, restrooms, a trail that goes
The nature trail at Hoover Reservoir is something I hadn't really thought much about. I was wrong. The trails are well maintained although not marked but easy to figure out. You can take a trail that isn't difficult and walk through the woods or tak
One of the best! There's an off-leash dog trail that I think is not paved, but we've only been on the paved trail with leashed dogs. It's nice and clean and even after a heavy rain there aren't puddles to dodge. They take care of this park really wel
Can I give it 10 stars? Would if I could! This park, to me, is the epitome of a moderate physical workout and a peaceful "head" workout. The trail is (approx) 1.8 miles around a center pond. Along the way are strength break signs to prompt the users
What a great find. This park is huge. Lots of stuff for the kiddo to do. My toddler loves it. There are bathrooms here, but a sign that says they close the end of October.
Great play place for kids 10 and under. There are also restrooms with running water, which is a welcome amenity. There are some large trees, but it still gets pretty sunny/warm on summer afternoons. We bring our own folding chairs so we can sit in t
Great place to walk my pup! Along the beach, grassy trails, the dam, rain or shine! They even have a disc frisbee area. It is hard to get pictures of the great blue heron or gulls as they are fast and my mini is on the go tugging at the lead. Good fi
Making pumpkins for the great pumpkin glow.
This park has so many amazing events and is a host to wildlife that enhances the visits. We got to see deer meandering around along with squirrels, birds and chipmunks ð¿ï¸ it was such a fun day making
Nice skate park a bit small but nice. Gaga pit. Hockey set up. Soccer fields. Dirty bike track. Big hill..maybe sledding?, rope climbs and walking running track. Really nice place to bring the family. Several benches for seating. 10-15 parking spot
