Went here for lunch. A cool, unique place with a line a mile long. It moves fast and is worth it. There is a guy at the front who gives you the basics on ordering if you're a 1st timer. It's super helpful and he does a great job. The food was great with several different meat options (you can combine 2 meats if you can't choose) and all sorts of toppings. I got a bowl and it was delicious. Check them out
This was an awesome lunch. The people here were very friendly and welcoming. We had the burrito and the tamales. Both were really good. I got the hot sauce and it was seriously hot but very good. This is our ne lunch spot! I love it. They do take cc but there is a cash discount.
Found via google search while in town for work. Got there at 2 and just missed the rush. Super friendly staff, cool atmosphere, killer burrito. 11/10 will come again.
The best burrito place in Charlotte!! I work across the street and I’m addicted to Johnny Burrito! Johnny and his brother are so awesome and the staff are all lovely! Food is always top notch for great price! Line is typically long but they know how to get you in and out and sooo worth it!!!

Thought I'd update this review from 5 years ago. Just went back to see Johnny for the first time since the pandemic. Still just as amazing as ever, and Johnny remembered me as a returning customer after about 3 years absence! Don't mess with other places adding extra cost for guacamole or sour cream. One price for the item, same for any of the meat selections (and any other toppings you want on it). As Johnny would say "for the next 10 feet you're the boss!" referring to the array of toppings you get to choose from down the counter, everything with no upcharge. I am amazed every time by how they manage to flawlessly get everything wrapped up without exploding the tortilla, since I always think I put too much on it. Also, when they ask at the very end if you want "diablo" you should say yes unless you are very sensitive to spicy sauce!
This was a great place for lunch and a hidden gem of a place for a first time Charlotte visitor. I ate the steak and chicken burrito bowl. Really enjoyed the Cheeriwine (don't have that in Louisiana). Thank you Chris and owner Johnny for your delicious fresh-Mex! Charlotte's best kept secret. The burritos are great and the price is fair as well. There is a reason why the line is always so long around lunch time. With a variety of choices for your burrito- you won't be disappointed. That being said, the tamales are average at best. They are a bit dry for my liking.
