Johnny B's - American restaurant in El Dorado - 211 S West Ave, USA

I quickly made a u-turn and arrived at Johnny B's, 211 S West Ave, El Dorado, AR.  As I salivated over the Fruit Sampler Waffle, I told myself I was eating healthy fruits such as bananas, peaches,  strawberries,  and blueberries. Although I didn't see my eating waffles as gluttonous, I know a guilty pleasure when I see one. The waitress was pleasant, and the atmosphere was welcoming.  Two cups of coffee and sausage made everything devine.  I definitely plan another visit in the future

I have been here three times over the years and I love the experience. Everyone is friendly and the food is exactly what you would expect from a small town diner. Everything I have had here is delicious. The place is small but it’s worth the wait. I forgot to take pics because I was too busy eating but I managed to snap a half eaten pancake before she finished it

The sample waffle was fluffy and delicious. My husband said the Johnny B omelet was delicious and my grandson loved the bacon and pancakes. Great food for a great price. The staff was very welcoming.

The best service around alone with amazing food. I highly recommend if you are in the area, stopping in for the best breakfast, lunch or dinner in town.

We absolutely love Johnny B’s. The food is Amazing and always phenomenal customer service. The fact that you can get breakfast your way anytime you want it is amazing. The service is awesome but the onion rings were pitiful. I could have peeled an onion and made my own raw rings and that would have been better than what we were served. The chili Burger was pretty good though.

Third time trying to get some decent hashbrowns, it will be the last. From lessons learned previously, we all asked for "burned up extra-extra-extra crispy hashbrowns", and they still came out parboiled with a wad of cold cheese on top. The cheese must have been stored in the freezer and placed on top after it left the kitchen. Maybe cold cheese on hash-tans is a thing, maybe it's your thing. If it is, then you should come here. Honestly the menu should just change to say "Shredded Potatoes with fresh raw veggies" instead of hashbrowns. There is nothing brown about it. Biscuits were burnt crispy though, so I know it can be done there, just not on the right item. Server was busy but helpful, and at least aware enough to comp the shredded potatoes with fresh raw veggies, even though we didn't ask. Another table (different server) was waiting on their check when we arrived, and didn't get their check until after our food came out. Cashier was rude, and should probably work BOH instead, or maybe she was just having a bad day because she ordered the hashbrowns.
