A must stop to eat after visiting the Elvis museum. The Diner reeks of history. We sat in the Elvis booth and enjoyed their good old fashion burgers with friendly welcoming staff.
We were on a Elvis Road trip and this place was recommended by a local because Elvis ate here. We had a great experience and the food was reasonably price and delicious. We order the dough burger and the regular burgers and they were all delicious.
I had the bacon cheese dough burger with lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and an order of crispy french fries. The food was delicious and the service was great. The decor of the restaurant was pretty cool. There was alot of Elvis memorabilia. You could also sit at the booth where the "King" once sat while dining there. It is a fun place to visit for lunch.
The covered parking was awesome! The dough burger was a first for me but it was very good as were the fries. Barbecue was good and the potato salad was excellent. If you love Elvis you should stop by and enjoy the food and atmosphere.
Removing the Elvis factor - 5 stars for being exactly what it states, never changed, nostalgic diner.
Example - The pimento cheese sandwich, 2 slices of lightly toasted white bread, schmear of pimento cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato. Simple and a simple price.
We also got the doughburger. I've read of slug / dough burgers before and wasn't exactly sure what to expect. I had read that the origin was a depression era method to extend meat with soy, bread etc spiced and fried.
Mentally I assumed mild beef flavor "extended". Rather, I didn't pick up any prevalent meat flavor. Ulitmately, it was more about consistency, soft-ish interior with crispy exterior. What you end up with is a good sandwich with the primary flavors being the mustard, pickle and onion on a nicely toasted bun.
One note on parking, it is a small lot and no real defined spaces. If you pull in and simply stop, you will be greeted by a "car hop" for your order and asked if you are eating inside. There wasn't parking so I dropped my wife off to pick up the order, circled the lot and then parked when a spot opened up. This caused some "you ain't from around here are ya confusion", but they were very nice about it :)
Interesting experience. This is a place Elvis used to visit and very inexpensive, very friendly, great service.
This is the coolest place on earth. And for the money, the food is awesome. Highly recommend. If you're from out of town, go eat inside at the Elvis booth!
Good slaw and potato salad. The BBQ was a little dry.
I love Five Guys food. Specifically, my kids love to go there because of their burgers and the abundance of fries. The workers are very friendly, and the service is fast, just as people want.
By far the best gym Iâve had the pleasure to train at. Iâm on year 2 with Cody and Iâve improved drastically both on and off the mats. Codyâs curriculum is first class with a perfect environment to excel. Great team, great atmosphere and very
This is our must stop in Tupelo. Coffee is excellent. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is kind of arty. We recommend Autumn in a cup if they have it (seasonal) and the snickerdoodle latte.
The food is great always. Itâs fresh. The booth could have been a little cleaner. One of the orders was incorrect, however they quickly corrected it and apologized. Great vibes, great food, and great service! I recommend the sweet tacos on the cris
I was amazed... the steaks were perfectly cooked, absolutely the best steaks I have EVER had... absolutely going back... the service was excellent, and the restaurant was spotless who could ask for more. Taking reservations for Valentines ð, you'
Started my day with a peanut butter and banana sandwich and ended it holding The King's hand - perfect! We had been to Tupelo a few years back but only saw his birthplace and missed this cool statue and park.
One of the Finest Hotel ever! Super nice customer service and security. The cleanest room ever I highly recommend and will be returning and very reasonable rates!
$11.99 buffet was good. The brisket was great. The angel hair pasta was dry. Pizza was great! French onion soup was great also. I suggest dipping the garlic bread in the soup. The service was excellent as always. The baklava was oh so good. It wasnâ
