Beautiful and well-preserved museum! I learned so much about Wright's brothers and his marvelous invention: The first flyer.
This museum is inside Carillon Historical Park and included in the price of the same ticket.
Wheelchair accesible.
Behind this building, at the top of one tree, there's a bald eagle nest.
No where else can you see as many Wright Brother artifacts including the original Flyer III airplane from 1905 which Orville himself dubbed the first practical airplane. A wonderful trip into aviation's early beginnings.

Ok, so the four stars are because I really hate museums. I mean, I loathe them. However, one of our party is really into the Wright Brothers, having just recently read David McCullough's biography. So, because he's my good friend, I went along. And it was (as far as museum's go) really good and pretty interesting. The guide who walked us through made it a good deal better (and longer... I would have been out in 5 minutes, not the 30--45 we spent). Definitely worth visiting to see the lives of the men who brought us the most important invention of the time.

I love aviation and I've always wanted to go here and see The Wright Flyer III. When I came here and first off I felt safe with their guide lines for Covid, and the staff that took us through the replica of the Wright Brothers Bicycle Shop was very polite and answered all of our questions thoroughly!
