Had a great time fishing with my son! They had 3 separate fishing piers and a dedicated cleaning station. It's a really cool spot with excellent features.
Came out to the John Paul's Landing Education Center near Katy Hockley Rd and West Rd for early voting. But found a hidden gem. The park and education center offer information about Texas wildlife, walking trails, biking, dog and cat walking, playgrounds, benches and picnic tables and special educational programs, like astonomy nights and nature walks. I found the voting and park staff to be friendly. Glad I showed up before the polls opened, so I could explore. If you are looking for a polling place or just like nature, I would highly recommend.
It is a nice place to visit. It has playgrounds for kids, and picknik tables but no too much shade. There is also a pavilion and public restrooms. If you want to fish you need a license. But be aware that you might encounter some alligators :)
Love this park, there’s space to do pretty much anything you want. Kids parties workout videos enjoying the breeze walking your dog. Etc the land is humongous.
It's was great Electricity water pit and feet away from play ground definitely booking for my son's graduation
My favorite park to take the kids or just a walk for myself. It's so big! It has four separate areas big enough to have plenty of space to play. There is a separate area just for fishing with peers. Totally worth going to.
Large playground area for the kiddos. Big lake. Also a large covered area, I would imagine good for gathering parties. The large concrete sidewalk around the lake makes for an easy walk. Not many trees, unfortunately. But took some nice photos with the clouds contrasting the sky. If you live nearby I'm sure it's nice. Not a huge pull from a distance though, I'd imagine. You make the call!

I love this park. It has a good walking path, one side is paved and the other side isn't. It has an area of outdoor workout equipment, and on the other side of the park, it has a children's playground. I love the sunrises and sunsets here. ð¤
Maxwell Park has a very nice feel to it; it's small and cozy. There is hardly any noise (except for the usual bird chirps) and it's in a secluded area. Not many cars will be around here, so don't worry about hearing what sounds like dozens of vehicle
A nice community park with a walking trail that can total up to 4.8 miles. Usually the walkers & joggers share the trail with some cyclists & dog walkers, but we all get to enjoy our respective space. It's a great place for kids to enjoy the playgrou
