Great trail when sunny. Awesome trail when wet and cloudy. Why awesome when cloudy and wet? Because there is no mud that sticks to your shoes or tires. To me that's a win win if your the type that loves the outdoor no matter what. Happy trails!!! By the way i did get a warning for not having my sisters dog on the leash. Keep your dogs on leash and pick up after them. Again, happy trails!!!

This is a fun trail for hiking or biking. It’s perfect for all seasons. The climb is for advanced beginners in some sections. It has great views and rocks to snap photos. Snap photos? Take it easy on your way down because of the speed.

It's a beautiful trail, especially right now due to the blooming wildflowers. Also got to see a few rabbits near the reservoir. We went to the reservoir and came back (3.8 miles/ 1 hour). It was easy (even for kids or elders) and a wide trail with hardly any ups/downs.

Great for biking but not so much for hiking. Trail is nice fire road switching to a single track after the lake and starts to climb up the mountain. Nice Bridges and views along the way. Top connects to Skyline trail.

Great for beginner MTB if you have low enough gears.

Very few parking at the trailhead. The trail is nice. Mostly shaded. A mobile toilet near the trailhead. Lots of big trees. I hiked to the reservoir. A pretty flat route. Many butterflies and dragonflies were near the reservoir.

Beautiful trail, very well maintained, deep in the forest. I'm relatively new to MTB and found it easy from the tech ical point of view, although the downhill section is definitely not for someone who is completely untrained on riding position and braking

A great climb with nice views along the way. The reward is a nice descent on your mountain bike 🚵‍♂️!!!

It's a beautiful location well worth the trek up the curvy mountain road. When we were there, the guitarist was a lovely addition to our day. Nice people took care of us and they're totally ok with you bringing food of your own.

Very pretty view. I would highly recommend biking up to see it from south bay as the grind of riding up the hill makes the view even more sweet as you have worked hard for it. It is also accesible by car for those who don't wish to cycle.
