Beautiful Nature Trail, at the end of the trail is a lookout. John Everitt discovered this spot with amazing views of the surrounding mountains! Be sure to park & take the short walk, it is well worth the stop!!
One of the most beautiful spots to park the car and soak in the views! Came down here from Bunny flat and the sun had already set, but it was still beautiful. Would definitely come back here for a sunset!
One of the coolest places on planet earth. Any place that makes its own weather is a definite stop in my book. You won’t be disappointed in this majestic beauty!
A quick stop on your way to the bunny Flat trailhead. The panorama is beautiful here. Unless you know the range before hand, There is no way to know which peak is what as there is no indicator or a board showing that.
Great views from the lookout point after a short hike

My new favorite place in the world. Thousands of rocks, minerals, meteorites and mystical treasures to explore. The owner is amazing and knows where everything comes from.
Mt. Shasta is Stunning. The drive from Redding to Mt. Shasta is a beast if youâre not a fan of steep, winding, fast roads but once you arrive the view is breathtaking. Only wish we could have stayed longer and hiked.

I was blown away by this "little" museum. From the front, it looks so small. It was free and we had so many fun things to actually touch. My adult daughters were so happy to use the old typewriter and other gadgets. It had lots of kids items that w
The views are amazing! Throughout the route, there are lake views. Downloading the trail is recommended since it's little challenging to follow through the campgrounds and other places.
Plenty of parking, easy walk down to the lake to set up at a spot. If you prefer to walk there is a trail that starts here and wraps around the lake. The loop is over 7 miles. I walked down and went to the left to start. Nice views and pretty shaded
Lovely little spot with well spaced campsites. And views of Shasta right from the site. We went on a Sunday in October so it was pretty quiet. Not sure how it is on weekends and prime time summer. Great proximity to the mountain bike trails at Gatewa
