Joey's Italian Grille - Pizza restaurant in Madison - 2731 Hubbard Rd, USA

It's not bad, it's not great, it's Joey's. The food is fine. It's basic diner food. Their are quite a few things on the menu that are actually pretty good if I'm being honest. You just need to know what they are. Their ultimate chicken salad is probably the best thing on their entire menu if I'm being honest, and nearly all of their sandwiches are fine/good. They're Pizza which is associated with their Longo's subsidiary is actually reasonable. It's more or less better than any of the fast food pizza chains but not much better than any of the other mom-and-pop pizza shops that are in the area. Strangely enough a lot of their Italian food is what actually is extremely hit-and-miss with whether or not it's either reasonably good all the way to being just plain bad at times. Really a lot of the biggest reasons why so many people go to Joey's is that it's very well-maintained, and everything is usually very clean and orderly whenever you're there. The decor and environment is very nice and a lot of people love going there on Sundays to watch the football games. Their indoor outdoor porch area is very nice and they usually have an awesome fire going whenever it starts getting cold out.

My only suggestion would be to add a potato or vegetable side dish please. I love your chicken Madison but I'm not a fan of any noodles. Wishing I had a second option. We come here often and the service is always great. Thank you.

Had a fantastic waitress, Amy, who was very friendly and personable! Paid great attention to our table, as well. Food was reasonably priced and everyone enjoyed their meal.

We came here last night and it was pretty decent. I feel like the Alfredo sauce could have been more flavorful. I feel like the sauce had very little taste to it but the chicken was good. We had Bruschetta bread that was pretty darn amazing. My son said his meat lovers calzone was pretty good. Would definitely come back and try something else.

May have been the best overall dining experience I've ever had. Melissa was the waitress, awesome! Light-hearted and fun, good attitude, and attentive. Food was superb. Everything that people got at our table, there were 7 of us, looked amazing. The portion sizes were fantastic. I'm a big eater and I was stuffed. We shared the fried pickle chips, yummy and a nice portion to share. My meal was a creamy chicken pasta. Can't remember the name because the waitress picked it, I never order. It was incredible. FYI, it was a Sunday, early afternoon.

Put an order in online and took my money out of my bank account, which was $30 and the order did not go through to the restaurant. I called and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes got to speak with the manager. They told me that this happens and accused me of not having enough money in my account. I just got paid so I know there's plenty in the account to cover. For now my money's gone and will be refunded in three to five business days. So I'm out $30 and it's Friday, great start to the weekend. So I'm out $30 on the weekend because their computer decided not to take my order and there was nothing they could do about it and they were rude on the phone about it with me because it happens all the time and I'm supposed to just be okay with that. Unbelievable. We will be taking our business to Karen's from now on their Pizza is better and it's cheaper. I highly recommend Karen's or Romans wings as well. We really really liked this place a lot too this is very disappointing. UPDATE! WE NEVER RECEIVED OUR REFUND!! BUYER BEWARE DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS PLACE

*Not Recommended* *Dishonest Menus Claiming Happy Hour Specials* *Under Cooked Food* *Loud Environment* The Bar had a live band playing so it was extremely loud in the restaurant dining area and the lounge. We didn't appreciate the menu in the dining area showing happy hour specials that are only available to the lounge and bar area and it didn't state it on the menu at our table. Our chicken was under cooked still had a lot of pink, I wouldn't recommend this establishment. The manager did however honor the first round of drinks since it wasn't specified on the menu not being available in the dining area even though the happy hour specials were at the dining area tables. The manager also took off one of our chicken dinners. So I gave them a few stars for at least doing the right thing and I tipped our server well for all the issues we encountered.
