JOEY Aventura - Restaurant in Miami - 19505 Biscayne Blvd, USA

My boyfriend and I ended up here for dinner sort of last minute. We loved the vibes of the restaurant: it felt very modern and upscale, yet also chill. The staff were very friendly and personable (although I will say that we never did get that complimentary glass of sparkling wine that we were offered at the beginning…) and we had great rapport with our waitress. The menu was quite extensive with lots of different cuisine options and everything sounded so delicious so it was hard to decide what to get! We ordered the Korean fried cauliflower, Szechuan chicken lettuce wraps, and burger. Everything was excellent! Flavorful and filling, although a bit overpriced. We also ordered the mezcal drink and hurricane crush: both were decent, although for the price, I felt that there was an excessive amount of ice. All in all, I enjoyed my dining experience here and will likely be back just to try more items on the menu (and desserts, which we were too full to try last time!).

Hosted an employee appreciation Holiday Lunch here today and the staff felt so thankful to be treated with such great service and smiles and did not leave a drop of food! It was a party of 10. Personally I will come back for intimate date nights and/or to grab a cocktail or two in the late evenings. Brett Butterwick and the staff were amazing. Thanks Joey’s Aventura for making everyone feel at home. Scrub uniforms and all.

We went to this new restaurant (well known Canadian establishment) for dinner on Saturday night. The restaurant is located in the new Aventura Mall addition and it looks very modern. There is a round bar in the middle and two level of seating options. Our server called the food "New American", he said they have everything but pizza and soup. They offer Asian, sandwiches, steak, sushi, etc. We went for a szechuan chicken lettuce wrap and the Mediterranean bowl which they were both very good. The service was friendly. The restaurant was surprisingly empty for a Saturday night, probably 60% occupancy. Also notice that the hostess struggle with the reservation system. We thought the prices were a bit overpriced but we still enjoyed our visit.

Definitely recommend! Everything was on point, food, drinks, and customer service. We went Friday night happy hour. .They had a DJ upstairs. Night manager was so down to earth. Great atmosphere…loved the dim lighting.!

I went for lunch and I was very impressed with the restaurant. The service was impeccable, and the food was outstanding from start to finish. The hummus had to be one of best I've ever had. The Cajun chicken breast was so juicy, I couldn't believe it was breast meat! I also enjoyed the atmosphere as they played nice music and the inside decor was contemporary and fresh. I highly recommend you try this restaurant!

Joey‘s Joey Joey‘s how I would love to love you, but I’ve had two bad experiences where the service was horrible. You’re probably wondering why I went back. I’m still trying to figure that out myself; the first time we went, the hostess greeted us; they were lovely, and we were also welcomed with a glass of champagne. We sat at the high top around the bar; we waited and waited. No one came. The MOD came up to us and said that our waitress would be coming soon. 10 minutes later, no waitress came, and the MOD came around again and took our drink order, so as time went by, we were still waiting for our drinks. We see the waitress, but she greets the guest who just sat next to us. Maybe she was super busy and forgot that we were seated first. That was the last straw so we just got up and left and went to Toku next door. The next time we went was Saturday for lunch, and this time, we were like, we’re going to sit at the bar, and maybe it will be better. The bartenders there were not very personable, and the restaurant was not packed at all. There were five people at the bar and two tables in the main dining, so we were expecting it to be better this time around. I ordered Baja tacos and a salad. After 25 minutes, I reached out to the Bartender, and I said hi. Is the chef here today, and she was like why? We’d been waiting about 25 minutes, and she went to check on it but returned with our order a few minutes later. But as a bartender serving a bar with five guests with another bartender working also, you should be on top of it. Service should be excellent. Would I come back? I don't think so. Please work on providing exceptional service. I understand how it might be challenging, but as a new restaurant, that should not be the problem. Maybe it was an off-night and an off-day.

They have EXCELLENT service here. All the wait staff make you feel welcome. Marianna was very good! The salmon is very tasty. My favorite are the crab cake appetizers. Definitely get the entree crab cakes which brings 2 so you can share. The desert was excellent.

My husband and I love to take advantage of Miami Spice so that we're able to try out different area restaurants. We wanted to check out JOEY Aventura based on all the amazing reviews. For the $35 lunch menu, we were very impressed on the amount of choices based on other restaurants participating. Let's just start off with the ambiance and how you're welcomed. Absolutely beautifully decorated two floor restaurant. The servers were very attentive. We started off with our appetizers of the sushi cones and Korean cauliflower, both of which were absolutely delicious. All was good until there was a huge gap between the appetizers and waiting for our entrees to be served. We were disappointed that no one came by to see how we were doing. We got the attention of one of the servers who quickly got a manager to come by. Gaby was extremely apologetic and treated us to an appetizer and a mocktail while we waited for our entrees. They did come out immediately thereafter. Despite the snafu and wait, the chicken salad and poke bowl were beautifully presented and absolutely amazing. Somehow we managed to plow through the desserts of the Italian donuts and strawberry cheesecake. Let's just say we literally rolled out of there! Highly recommend going as we agree with the amazing reviews.
