We found Joe's Inn when looking for a close-by restaurant for Altria Theater. It's only 5 minutes away by car.
Joe's Inn is a great little corner restaurant with a cool vibe. We went on a Friday night at dinner and although they were crazy-busy, the staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Even busy, the food was delivered quickly and exactly as expected.
The most appealing part of the restaurant to me is the eclectic menu, which includes all-day breakfast. There was something for everyone. The prices are good.
The food was good, but nothing extraordinary. Seems like they use quality food products. The drinks were well-made, but no unique flavors.
Solid restaurant, with a good vibe and seems family-friendly.
Atmosphere:
We went on a weekday and it was crowded. Go with time and hungry! It is totally worth it.
Menu:
Homemade delicious options. You will feel the difference in the food and even in the salsas.
We ordered:
- Soup of the day: Navy Soup. Amazing 10/10. Great portion and delicious! Perfect for this cold season.
- Homemade Lasagna. 10/10 The size is huge! You will enjoy every single bite.
- Spaghetti a la Rudd. 10/10 Added 2 meatballs (they totally worth it). Homemade taste! Incredible flavor and the portions are huge.
Total $50
Value for money totally worth it, they give you free bread for the food which is a plus! You can refill it for free.
Extras:
You will love the leftovers next day! Staff friendly and great atmosphere!
This place is extremely hyped when you look at the reviews and honestly, it does basic dishes extraordinarily well. I gave it 4 stars because it is up against the heavy hitters of Richmond. My hubby had the breakfast sandwich - it was soooo good. And I had the big breakfast with pancakes - very delish. The home fries are some of the best in the city. Atmosphere is good. My waitress was so sweet. And the coffee was nice (one of the only diners that has cold brew, what a win). Overall, it's awesome for breakfast/brunch, there are just a few others that are a bit better (but not by much).
Came here 30 mins before closing and they still accomodated us. Food was great and the portions are huge. Very affordable too. Our server was nice and very friendly. It was easy to find street parking. 4/5 for the athmosphere because it was just too dark and loud but other than that, I highly recommend this place to everyone.
My wife heard about this place online somewhere and we put it in our list of places to visit. So very glad we did. The food was outrageous.
She had the Chicken Parmagiana and I had the Loaded Spaghetti. Now spaghetti may not excite some people but there is nothing quite like a good spaghetti dinner! Great place.
We took it off our list of places we want to try and transferred it to the "we have go back there" list
It was a very busy night, but the service was great! Our food was okay, the fries were especially tasty. Three of our party had a variation of the baked Spaghetti meals, but we found that while it was good, it wasn't fantastic. The portions were colossal. The price was great for servings of that size. We will come again to try something other than pasta.
We overall enjoyed the service and the food. The server was friendly and attentive. Our only complaint was that the fried chicken was dry. Otherwise we would have given this restaurant a 5.
Looking for carbs the night before Richmond marathon and Joe delivered. Copious amounts of delicious pasta - we got there by 5 and were seated within 10 minutes. Great experience.

Vendor Review: Soho Photos
As a photographer, I enjoy capturing moments at venues that offer flexibility. Having both indoor and outdoor options for couples, especially during the peak season from March to November, adds to the appeal. The well-kept
