Joe's Crab Shack - Seafood restaurant in Sandy - 65 E 9400 S, USA

First time here in about 15 years. We had a large party. All the staff we interacted with were awesome! Our sever was on top of everything (again we had a large party so I could understand if he wasn’t). Sadly the food was just ‘okay’. Everyone felt the same way about their food. Seemed very over cooked. I ordered the coconut shrimp, it was a little too crispy. I will say the drinks were yummy! We were celebrating a sweet 16 birthday, the staff did great at embarrassing him (in a good way). They have an indoor play place but it was closed for some reason. Personally wouldn’t be back for the food but everything else was great.

If I'm going out to eat I'm going to Joe's! I love the food and the helpful, friendly servers. Management is awesome and great selection on the menu. I love it there so much it's the best place to be. You will love it too.

The dining experience was a seafood delight, and the king crab was likely a highlight with its sweet and succulent meat. The casual and lively atmosphere at Joe’s tends to enhance the overall enjoyment of a seafood feast.

Was so fun eating there and the food was amazing 👏 get the artichoke dip, you will absolutely love it.. fun non alcoholic drinks with fun light up cups you can take home .. corn, and crab on point just wish potatoes were seasoned. Custumer service was so amazing And kind. Manager even put on gloves to show us how to Crack crab 🥰 overall im so happy today after going and grateful for fun places still..

Very good! The best Joe’s Crab Shack I been too. A lot of room and friendly staff and the juicy cajun boil! Omg! A lot of food. Next time I’m sharing this with hubby! We got one of our own and didn’t finish it all. Their was so much food we end up in a food coma lol 😆 so we’ll be back when we are in town!

When we arrived, the hostess looked annoyed and so "happy" to be there. She had 3 families in line, so we had a small wait. Once we got seated, we were in the bar area, and the waiter was very nice and attentive. I had the honey mustard salmon, which was really good!! My partner had the captains plate. When we were leaving, the hostess was lounging in a chair. So even tho the food was good the atmosphere and the employees could use some help!

Ordered a Queen crab pot and was brought out snow crab. The manager profusely denied they had bright me out snow crab, but that is what I've ordered EVERY time I've eaten here and thar was not remotely close. Maybe the crabbing is off; but don't charge someone $55 bucks for that. Price it for the quality of the food. Sadly won't be back.

My party and I arrived at 5:00pm we didn’t leave until 8:30pm. The food didn’t arrive until 6:30pm. It took about 1.5 hours to have our check brought to us. I highly recommend the staff needing simple training on how to right checks so they don’t mess up orders. I mean one two fine, but over 5 is ridiculous. The food was great. We asked for another server and we were not given one. I am debating coming back here again. I’m very disappointed. I have been coming for years. Needs new management or some major training.
