(*Warning: This will be a long one*) I have an HP Omen 16.1 Gaming Laptop. Recently the screen had gotten these ugly horizontal lines on it. Nothing major but for my main laptop I wanted it fixed, quickly. I took it to BestBuy (where i had bought it) and a member of the Geek Squad recommended me to Joe's saying that "they do their repairs inhouse versus them sending it to HP to get repaired". I was like "alright ill just take it there". I checked here to see the reviews and they were quite good, so I went through with the plan. I took it to them, liked the price, thought they seemed to know what they were doing, and had them order the part. I was told the part would be in later that week and they would call me when it gets here. The next week comes and no call, so I call them thinking they were busy or the part hadn't come in yet. I was told it had, so I went up there to drop off my laptop. When I arrive, they grab the screen that is supposedly mine and tell me that it should be done by the next day or two. Again, I am told they will call me. The next few days pass, no call, so I call them. I was told it wasnt done, but Joe would be getting to it very soon. I think, "Alright whatever they were busy, fine, wouldve been nice for an update though. It is what it is" the next day or so I call again and I am told that he hasn't finished it yet and it should hopefully be done by the end of the day. Two days later I call, and Joe tells me that the part is wrong and to get the correct one before a MONTH from now it would be $30 for shipping. I relunctantly say fine and the part is ordered and will be delivered in a week. They tell me they will call me or I can call them on a certain day for an update. A week goes by and I call them on that day. I was told the part is here and Joe is working on it, shouldnt be longer than an hour or two. I say "Alright great call me when it is finished" they say "yup". Another day or so passes and I call them. Joes answers and tells me that they need to order the part for the THIRD TIME because this one is ALSO wrong. I get angry, because duh who wouldnt be after 3 weeks of dealing with something that shouldnt have taken longer than 1. We go back and forth, they will no longer fix it, I pick up my laptop and bring it home. I get home and notice that the bezel wont close, my battery isnt being recognized, and the bottom cover feels slightly loose. I flip over my laptop and there is a CRACK in the cover from where they tried to open it and clearly did a poor job. I remove the cover (correctly because apparently they cant) and my battery isnt connected and the thermal cover for my GPU is loose. I put everything back together and order a portable display (because im not making the mistake of sending it somewhere again). Thankfully it still works fine. Moral of the story is: If you want to baby sit grown men, have your computer returned to you in worse condition than when you gave it to them, and risk throwing money away. This place is great. I shouldve just sent it to HP and paid the extra money. At least then it wouldve had a greater chance in being replaced correctly. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Joe and Andy were exceptional in my PC building process. I believe I went in on a Thursday, and they were able to have it fixed by like 3 on Friday, despite Best Buy telling me it would be a week. Now I get to type this out on my new, finally working, computer. They were knowledgeable, quick, and reasonably priced and I will be using this store for any future computer needs!!

I brought my almost outdated laptop in to fix the charging port, because it wasn’t charging. The gentleman working managed to get it to charge using a tool to recenter the charging port. He gave me the tool and I walked out not having paid a dime. He also advised me that fixing the laptop may not give it much more time, since it is an older model and will cost more money than it is worth to fix it. He was very professional and informative. When I got home I was able to get my laptop back to a full charge doing what he instructed me to do. I’d say this is a reliable and fair establishment.

I have a Windows 10 HP laptop. I took my computer in for a boost or whatever would make it stream better as it was glitchy when streaming videos on Rumble or music on Sirius XM, or even when streaming a radio station live and I had even offloaded many of the files on it and put them on an external drive because I thought that might have been dragging down the computer. As I dropped it off on a Monday evening, I was told it should be ready by Thursday or Friday because they try to clear out everything they receive early in the week by the weeknd as they are closed on Saturday and Sunday. I was also told I would receive a phone call. By Friday, I had not heard from the computer shop, so I tried to call them at lunch and the phone just rang, it eventually went to voicemail but the box was full so I couldn't leave a message. I tried to call back later that afternoon, and the same thing happened. I decided to just drive over there so I could find out what the status of my computer was. When I walked in, the guy, whom I found out was not Joe, came out of the back. I inquired of my computer, for which I received a status that seemed odd. So upon further inquiry, he was thinking of another customer. He then turned to walk over to his workbench, where apparently my laptop was sitting. He then proceeded to work on it for about 5 minutes more. Then, he brought it to me and said there was nothing that they could do, which I now somewhat doubt, but I'll leave that for now. His advice was to upgrade to a new computer. While I will seek additional advice and intend to upgrade at a later time, I don't think I can recommend this place because of the whole operation of it. What kind of business will not answer their phone when you call or will not empty their voice mailbox so a message can be left? The only plus out of this whole instance is that there was no charge for the computer check.

They did a great job and super friendly. Walked through everything that he tried with me explained how it happened and how to avoid it in the future 10/10 will use again in the future if another issue pops up and will recommend to everyone with pc issues as well.
