Though 22 years have come and gone, the good memories persist here. Took my son to JL's for lunch and shared with him how I used to eat here once a month when calling on Jim Warner Ford Lincoln Mercury. The excitement was high as I wondered if the food was as good as I remembered it to be. We both ordered a lunch special consisting of a chopped beef sandwich with potato wedges along with a drink. $30 for two is about standard these days. I pointed out which sauce to load up on and then we made our way to a table. Before I even got halfway through my wedges, my son had already scarfed down nearly the whole sandwich! We cleaned our plates and proceeded to leave a little note on a bill and affix it to the wall. One thing's for certain, the food is still mighty tasty and another visit with the whole family is due sooner than later. Thank you JL's for delivering on this visit. It brought back many great memories.

My coworker and I stopped in after word of mouth from one of the managers here, and she warned us that they pile their plates HIGH. and they very very very much do. We barely could finish our plates. The pricing was extremely fair, given the portions. Absolutely would go again, if I was in the area.

First, I want to say that I love JLs. I always make an excuse to go when I’m working in the area. Inside everything is great. Lately I’ve been doing mostly drive through however and it’s been disappointing. The portions are tiny compared to what you get inside. Lately I’ve been getting what seems like dregs too. The Okra was rock hard, toast was black and solid. Everything else was as good as normal. The people are always great, the food comes fast. The pictures are Today vs six months ago. The second is even half ate.

I had the Two meat combo (ribs and half a BBQ Chicken) with baked beans and fried okra. The ribs were really good, but the chicken was a little dry and slathered with BBQ sauce. The beans were my favorite part, full of flavor and shedded meat. The okra...it's fried okra, not much to rave about. Overall the food was good and they cut it and serve it as your ordering so it's ready by the time you get to the pay area and they give you large portions. The restaurant layout has plenty of room for large groups and has a self serve area for drinks. It's a great place if you want to get some BBQ fast and want a lot of it.

I ordered a Chicken Fried steak with green beans and potatoes. The steak just looked big because it was mostly burned greasy taking breading and little meat. The green beans had the over powering taste of garlic. I like garlic, use it in everything but that was bad. Potatoes were tasteless. So I am very disappointed 😞. Expected better especially since it is so expensive. Oh, and don't use your card. They charge a 3.75% convenience fee.

Love the chicken tenders! The outside breading is a mix between kfc crispy and kfc original. It was awesome! The fries were made fresh and I was glad because I’m not a huge fan of buffets for the simple reason that food isn’t usually very hot/fresh. Fresh hot toast as well and friendly staff! Now for the drawbacks, too large of portion of sides. I know, I know, who says that? Well, I guess in the future we could share a plate 🤷‍♀️ but we threw out most of our sides except the fresh string fries. The steak fries and beans had been sitting for a bit and the corn on the cob tasted like wax, literally. If we go back we will share, 4 pieces with fries and toast and we will be happy campers. We paid 40$ this time for both meals but next time it will be 20$. Very good place to check out but be sure you share a plate the first time, you can always go back and get more through the line.

This is a BBQ place you must try. All of the meats I ate feel right off the bone. The 2 meat combo is almost $20 but I stuffed myself and took a plate home. They give you a lot of food! The beans have chopped brisket in them and taste delicious. They have a homemade BBQ sauce that they heat in crockpots and I'm not of fan of it.

Dam Good BBQ Place. Well worth it. I would highly recommend stopping for a bite. They have room for big rigs to park. I will definitely be coming back here. Very friendly staff.
