This place definitely deserves all the super high ratings. It is awesome! Everything is so fresh, the portions are surprisingly great, and the prices are very fair as well! I tried build your own/BYO bowl with 1 scoop of raw ahi tuna, half brown rice, half zucchini noodles, sweet corn, wakame seaweed, nori, edamame, garlic crisps, and teriyaki sauce. Wow, that’s a lot haha. I also tried their boba. The bowl was sooo good. Very refreshing. This would be an especially awesome summer meal I think. The fish was incredibly fresh, although a tad stringy. The zucchini noodles were nice and crunchy. Rice was also very well made. All of the vegetables were incredibly fresh, and the encampment was too. The teriyaki sauce was quite sweet, and that’s how I like it. All in all an amazing meal. The boba was also very good. I had the mango milk tea flavor. It wasn’t too sweet and had a great flavor. They don’t include the boba pearls in the drink originally, so you have to add them if you want them. This place is just amazing overall. Very high quality ingredients, fresh food, healthy, great portions, great prices. 100% recommend.

The food is good I order from uber eats and there is a 13 dollar service fee or "basket fee" for literally two things and they can't even provide chop sticks. I got shrimp as one of my proteins and their very small little shrimp you would think they would have bigger shrimp since it's a poke bowl. There alright though there like the subway of poke bowls.

Nice and clean place, the lady at the front is really friendly. I got a Supper bowl which comes with Misu soup. Great chose, it was a good amont of food and it was very tasty.

I respect other people’s opinions and all, but if you give JJ Poke any less than 5 stars, you are crazy!!!! This place kept me FED throughout my undergrad at Pitt. For just a little more than $10, one of their poke bowls fills me up with leftovers to spare - they don’t skimp you on portions! The food is prepared deliciously and with obvious care and attention to detail. Everyone who works here is incredibly kind and you can tell that they are all very hardworking people. Can’t run out of good things to say about this place. My favorite food spot in Pittsburgh!

Hands down the best poke place in town. I tried many other places such as sushi fuku and others, but this place is so much better! They have great fish and great selections of toppings for free. They also have a zucchini base option for those who do not want to eat a lot of carbs. This is the absolute best thing ever! U can enjoy poke without a ton of rice. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Ordered delivery from Uber Eats for my brother. The seafood is really fresh! He said he love it!!!

Tonight, was my first visit and I’ll definitely be back. I ordered a BYOB and CYOD. As for my bowl, I selected zucchini noodles and sushi rice as my base, chicken/shrimp, sweet corn, wakame seaweed, sweet corn, green onion, spicy mayo, teriyaki sauce, pickled ginger, pineapple, crab meat salad, garlic crisps and onion crisps. The bowl was amazing, all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. My drink, I chose the jasmine green tea base, I mixed the mango and peach fruit tea and added mango boba. My drink was also delicious. I will be back for the same combination and to try new combinations. Also, very affordable , under $20 total. This was my first time trying poke, so I cannot compare my experience to another local restaurant.

SO GOOD. Love the portion size. Love the freshness. Their poke bowl made me a happy person. My only tiny complaint is that they gave me way too much sauce. I'll probably ask for sauces on the side next time. FYI You place an order by circling toppings on a piece of paper which makes things much easier with so many options!
