Jimmy's GR Original - Gyro restaurant in Melbourne - 4020 W New Haven Ave, USA

Best gyro i’ve ever had hands down. I did not expect it from a food truck in the location it’s at, but it was absolutely delicious. The man running it could not be kinder and it’s absolutely an amazing local business. The gyro is super cheap, only $8, yet it was the biggest i’ve gotten. It’s packed with meat, cheese, veggies, and loaded with tzatziki. The man cooking gave me a piece of meat to try while I waited, and I knew that moment it was a great establishment. The flavor was unmatched compared to any other i’ve had. It was delicious down to the last bite and I could’ve easily eaten another. I can’t recommend this place enough. I know I probably use that loosely but this place blew it out of the water. If you at all enjoy gyros, try one from here!!!

I don't eat much Mediterranean food, but this gyro is one of the best I've ever had. I'm definitely going back to try some other things on the menu. I originally wanted the steak but was offered a sample of the lamb and it changed my mind. Definitely try the lamb.

Great food!! We are from NY and very picky when it comes to Gyros and pizza here in Florida lol But we have to say the gyros here are amazing and taste delicious 😋

Best Greek food ever! Food truck and no where to sit but get this and either eat it in your car or take it home! The GYROS and HUMMUS are the absolute best! Jimmy is an excellent host!

The food is amazing, it was raining alot today I didn't know you could call an order in first. Other than that everything is great my wife for the lamb dinner and loved the grape leaves, I got the lamb gyro and loved the feta cheese in it made it one of the best I've had. Next time we are in town from Georgia we will be coming back for sure. This place is definitely worth coming back to again. They also give you a little gyro meat sample while you wait which just makes you want the food even faster 😀

I have been eating here for a decade and it is always good. It is always better when Jimmy is there. He gives out a sample of lamb for you to try. The girl working now has the same gusto as Jimmy. You can tell she enjoys what she is doing and it shows in the quality of the food. I always get the gyro platter.. I like putting mine together by myself. Plus I love the Greek salad so I get extra of that. The Dolmas are amazing and They always have a really good feta cheese I mean you can taste the difference when you get it at some point sink doesn't really care and the quality. Their feta cheese is awesome. I don't mind that it's in the strip club parking lot. I don't go there at night so it doesn't bother me plus it seems to be easier to get in and out of then the last parking lot next to the liquor store.

Just wow. The best lamb gyro in town. Super clean,fast and very friendly staff. They even gave my 9 yr old a little piece of lamb to taste. My gyro sandwich was stacked with lamb, lettuce,onions,tomatoes and feel chunks of feta cheese. This sandwich was heavy. The Tiki sauce was perfect. You need to get out and get a gyro from here. You won't regret it.

Must stop here. This is great food. Freshly made food and the staff is wonderful. Original gyro - fire Philly - delicious. Greek salad- tasty and fresh Fries- order extra you won’t share them Baklava- order 2 you won’t regret it for later I want to go back to west Melbourne just for this.
