The service and food were good. The chili is a bit different, but it really grew on me! Has a small town diner charm to it. Banan pudding looked homemade and delicious, but I personally did not get it (only bc I felt I wouldnt have room.) Would recommend if you want a unique experience and support a local small business! Great prices!

Some folks will say “it’s just a hotdog. How can you mess up a hotdog?” They’re kind of right. It is just a simple hotdog. What makes a hotdog special is when it’s properly constructed. Jimmy’s. They are hotdog architects. The bun 👍….. perfect bread proportion steamed to perfection. The bun should be a condiment to the weiner. Too big of a bun and it throws off the bite. Slaw 👍 a light, crunchy, and tasty slaw. It’s not piled on, making it seem like you’re eating a hotdog slaw. Chili 👍 chilis can be super watery. They make the bun soggy and drop all in your beard. Jimmy’s has the perfect chili for hotdogs. Onions 👍 nothing special. It’s a white onion. BUT! They sprinkle it about the weiner adding to the perfect portions of other condiments so your partner will still kiss you after you’ve sucked down half a dozen hotdogs. THE HOTDOG 👍👍 bun size hotdog, not over cooked or boiled. Just a delicious piece of wonderful meat compilations. Oh yeah. Mustard. I didn’t have one drop of mustard leak out. That’s amazing. I don’t know who came up with the construction of this hot dog, but whomever they are deserves recognition. They nailed it.

Great hotdogs - ordered two all the way with an ice cold diet coke! Nice outdoor picnic area as well. There was a clean restroom. The service was fast. The location is not too far off of I 85 and worth the drive for a pitstop. We ate at one of the picnic tables in the grass with our dog on a leash, so it worked out great.

Another stop on my hot dog run tour. Got a couple cheese dogs all the way with fries and a drink. First, dogs were really good. Definitely some of the better ones I have. Looked like homemade slaw, good chili. The fries had some Arby's vibe to them - like a crunchy, textured exterior. But not spicy - salted lightly and just right for me. And a great price for all of this. Service was great, friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Rustic, delicious. Great hot dogs etc, and banana pudding . Well worth visit. Indoor seating and outdoor order window with picnic tables. Americana!

Had a couple of hotdogs and loaded fries, pretty good but i miss the steamer's they used to have to really warm up the dogs to make them so much better.

This brings back all the memories & nostalgia of visiting the local hangout with Grandma & Grandpa! A larger menu is not required when your doing it right! Great dog & topped all the way! Several other classic items that will keep you going back.

Good food, friendly service, The dining area was clean and well arranged. Many selections. Just what you would want to see in a small town hot dog restaurant. They have ice cream too but we didn't try it. If I lived in Mebane, I would go there every week.
