Jimmy's Diner - Restaurant in Dodgeville - 104 W Leffler St, USA

We ordered a whole chicken and large fry at Jimmy's diner. They gave us four pieces of chicken and a small fry. Neither of which was cooked all the way. And when we went to get a refund or food they threatened to call the cops on us. Worst experience ever. Never going back. Also rotten lettuce in my salad

Found this little gem while traveling through the area. The staff were attentive and friendly. It was cute to hear them chatting with customers who seem to be regulars. My salad was good, with tender chicken pieces and lots of fresh tomatoes. I also ordered a small cup of chicken and dumplings that we both loved! My husband's chicken was boasted and delicious!! He said "the skin was crispy and delicate and the meat was juicey". Oh...and the french fries were especially good too!! Highly recommend!

No frills breakfast diner with affordable options. Crepes were served slightly burned. Waffle iron wasn’t in service and would’ve been another 20 minute wait. Seating is simple with metal tables and simple chairs. Overall a decent little place, and would give it another try, as I know we probably didn’t come at the busiest of times.

Delicious! The burger my other half ordered was cooked medium rare just as he ordered . I ordered a blt , and they did not skimp on the nice thick cut bacon , and a nice thick tomato slice! The onion rings were perfectly sweet , definitely never frozen . We only wished we lived closer , we would eat here more often ! The waitress was wonderful and we loved that the owner was there to bring us to our table .

Glad I made a decision to walk out of another local restaurant to have breakfast here. Two thumbs way up and pretty decent pricing. I’m glad it worked out! Food was good as you can see from these pictures. Will be back as my son have sporting events here!

We honestly didn't know what to expect from Jimmy's, but we took a chance and I'm sure glad we did! It's a great little American dinner. I initially had their classic burger and fries (don't want to take risks on a new place) and it was really good. Cooked just the way I wanted, the staff was responsive, friendly, and non-intrusive. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience there. I've been back several times now... it's our go-to spot for casual dining in Dodgeville. The chicken salad (pictured) is great and so are the skillets (also pictured) and come with great pancakes... I think they have vanilla added to them... really tasty! The service is good, the atmosphere is very casual, and the food tastes great... a good value for the money. All of my experiences there have been positive. The menu has a lot of variety (steaks and seafood, soups & salads, burgers and sandwiches, dinners, sides and desserts).

Awesome little diner! We had the house sampler appetizer, soooo good! Philly, bacon cheeseburger, French dip and Reuben were excellent! We would definitely stop again next time we're here!

Wonderful little dinner spot! So glad we stopped, portion sizes were way more than fair, the burgers where amazing! Real eggs omelettes and perfectly cooked bacon! Wonderful coffee and excellent service!
