Nestled in a resort hotel, this beach bar is a hidden gem. The laid-back atmosphere instantly puts you at ease, perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun. The sprawling deck offers breathtaking views of the beach, creating an ideal backdrop for sunset cocktails.
What truly sets this place apart is the live music, adding a vibrant energy to the relaxed setting. The staff are attentive and friendly, ensuring prompt service without disturbing the casual vibe.
The food menu, while not extensive, offers tasty options that complement the drinks perfectly. From fresh seafood to classic bar bites, the quality is consistently good.
Whether you're a hotel guest or a local, this bar is a must-visit for its ambiance, views, and overall experience.
Absolutely loved our time at Jimmy B’s Beach Bar in Saint Pete! The atmosphere is unbeatable, with a laid-back vibe that perfectly complements the beachfront location. Live entertainment keeps the energy up, making every visit a fun experience. The food is delicious, with a great variety to choose from. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty meal or just some tasty snacks to go with your drinks, Jimmy B’s has you covered. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic time by the beach!
*It did take us a 'minute' to find the place and parking. We had to park behind a 7-Eleven and walk across, which wasn't bad at all. Then you have to walk all the way through the hotel and go to the back in order to find it; just as a helpful hint for anyone that didn't know that ahead of time like we didn't. It appears you can also walk right off the beach up there, but we were coming from somewhere else.*
If you are looking for beach, drinks, live music and maybe a rando link…this is your spot! The food is not good, I would only eat here if you have to. I had fish tacos and they were like fried fried, no fish. But everyone was having a good time, people dance in their swimsuits to the live music.
One of my favorite moments and places I visited in Tampa. The staff were truly kind and attentive to all needs. They managed the large crowds of customers with ease and provided excellent service and hospitality. The food and drinks were soooo good!! The options and were endless. I really loved how close the beach is to this restaurant. The restaurant has walkways built onto the beach. The sunset was gorgeous at this location and made the experience that much more pleasant.
This is basically just bar food --frozen/fried, so if you go expecting restaurant quality you'll be disappointed. If you're just on the beach in the mood for something quick and junky, it's a decent pit stop. Salads were trash, fish tacos mediocre. The coconut shrimp was decent and so were the pickle fries and breast bites. Pina colada terrible. Our service was poor -- long time before we saw any food, then everything was brought out at once (apps and entrees). The fried apps were room temp, so you know they were just sitting out forever waiting to be carried over to us.
The food was great, the waitress was really nice, and the view while eating was amazing. The night we were there they had live music which was a plus for us!
Live music, great views, and a ton of people around having just as much fun as you....lots of energy! The service is good and the food is decent. The experience is terrific. Not especially kid friendly unless they like loud music and drunk dancing.
Really fun beachside bar and restaurant with lovely outdoor dining. It was a crowded on a sunny Sunday afternoon but there was still plenty of seating and only a short wait at one of three outdoor bars. There is a fourth bar inside where you can also order food. I enjoyed a few hours here and will be back. The only downside is limited steet parking behind Dunkin & 7-11 if you are not a hotel guest.
Perfectly embodies an Old Florida feel. Sweet and intimate beachfront and gorgeous small town vibe. Walking the little shops was a treat. If youâre tired of congested beaches and want something more cozy and sincere, the is the place to look.
This was our first time at The Coconut Inn and we loved everything about it.
We wanted an old town low key beach vibe where we could walk or bike to the beach, bars, restaurants and to hear music.
The Owner of the Inn, Maggie was so nice and accommo
We were here to catch (obviously) the sunset. Although it was a cloudy evening we enjoyed the beach. Lots of room to setup an umbrella and chairs, or rent them. Also beach volleyball courts are available to the public. There are restaurants there as
Wonderful, quiet, great place to stay. Met wonderful people who come back year after year. Price was excellent. Had a kitchen with all you might need. Furnished nicely. Will come back next time in St. Pete's Beach!
Love this place. We have rented unit 508 multiple years in a row and love the pool area and view of the bay. The beach is a small trek across the street but that's fine because there are crosswalks and the unit we stay in has a beach wagon for chairs
