Jimmies Place - American restaurant in Seymour - 133 Main St, USA

I’ve been driving by Jimmie’s Place my whole life, and after 25 years of curiosity, decided to stop in! It gives dive bar vibes, but WOW is the food incredible! I was seriously not expecting the variety of wing flavors on the menu, and the creativity at that! We absolutely loved their sour cream and onion, dill pickle, and honey Cajun flavors, and our pretzels with homemade queso and Mac and cheese were fantastic! The food came out quickly, and our server was friendly and attentive. I’m so glad I finally stopped in and I plan on coming back the next time I’m craving good wings and comfort food!

So I went for Halloween night, few drinks and sit in the bar. Atmosphere it’s nice , good music. We ordered famous chicken wings , in my opinion I didn’t like but my boyfriend love it, too hard for my taste. Staff is awesome , bathroom clean and place clean.

My favorite local spot you gotta try the whiskey peanut butter wings and the cherry 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 i have to say best wings I’ve ever had 🍻

My husband and I went for the first time to see if we would be able to bring a family crowd, but it's too small. However, the service is excellent, the food came out hot and was delicious, and the atmosphere was calm. One of my favorite things was the steak and cheese egg rolls, a must try. Yes, we will go again and even buy for take out.

My fiance and I love this place. The food is amazing, the staff are very friendly, the service is great, and the specialty drinks are always good. Just the best little restaurant you could go to. Highly recommend.

I recently l placed a delivery order on Grubhub. There was an issue with an item availability (in fairness it was pretty late) and the meal was ready with no Grubhub driver...a quick call and teh friendly reception led to a quick resolutionand an offer to deliver personally to my door; just so my meal would arrive hot. Jimmies Place stepped up when Grubhub fell off. I can't say they will do this for everyone, but I can say with my experience that they care about their customers and the customer experience. I value this as much as I value quality food, which I will also say was amazing. I had a French Dip which came with thick cuts of meat, generous amount of fries and had an amazing flavor profile. The Asiago bread added a new dimension I never knew I was missing. THE Au Jus was perfect, lightly salted but with a hearty flavor. I meant to take a picture but just wouldn't stop eating after the first bite. A great business to support; I'll be ordering here more often!

Clearly a favorite with locals as it was packed. I don't know if they were just understaffed or incapable of proper time management but my spouse's food was cold. My food seemed to be missing the sauce portion. The wait staff were friendly and when we explained that our beer was flat offered us a different beer option in place of that one.

Ordered the Philly cheese steak tonight and it was really really good!!! I’ve been craving one and this hit the spot. Love their fries too. Filling and fantastic!
