I've been to Jiggers a few times a few years ago. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of my food and the high level it was prepared.
The young woman that served my friend and me was helpful and accommodating. She also mentioned that the Diner had passed hands and the new owner was very anxious to make a go of it by keeping the service, the food and the atmosphere at a high level.
Substitutions were not a problem as I substituted my two sides for others.
I'm really glad I wasn't disappointed as I brought a friend of mine there when we were in the area. He also had a great breakfast experience.
I'm definitely going to bring my whole family there in the near future for breakfast.
Great old school diner. Breakfast and lunch served all day. Burgers are huge and fresh. Atmosphere is exactly what you're looking for in a local, retro, comfort food type restaurant.
Really cute diner that's very easy to get to. All their food is great but my favorite is the lobster cheddar grits, which is seasonal. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is great.
Lives up to the hype! Old-school diner feel. Good food and friendly service. Several vegetarian options and eggs Benedicts. Small place so gets crowded quick.
short review...great place, great folks, cool history and if you like corned beef hash, this version is bangin'! Seriously, if this is what you enjoy and hope is on the menu (that's me!), this is wicked good cbh. The rest of the menu is really, really good but you should get a side of the corned beef hash no matter what you order...seriously, you deserve it.
It’s such a cute place in a converted old train car. Very good service. We came for the Johnny Cakes which were quite good. I like that they locally source everything. I got the Johnny cake platter (15.95) and it was the perfect size. Really enjoyed it.
TLDR: The food was good, service was okay, the coffee horrible.
The food I had here was great. Specifically I liked the home fries which were really nicely seasoned. The scrambled eggs where just fine as well. I was sufficiently full after eating here but could have enjoyed some more fruit in the small cup of fruit I got. The service here was good too. They accommodated a special request for an egg wrap and for scrambled eggs made from egg white (but they didn't communicate that the egg white would cost more than a normal egg). The complimentary muffins weren’t exceptional but nice. The food came quick. They also opened about 30 minutes later than the stated 6am. My real issue with this place was the coffee. I got bottomless coffee for $3 which seemed like a good deal until I got the tasteless and watery coffee. I could see the bottom of the cup through the coffee.
Stopped for breakfast on our way back to CT from dropping off parents at airport. Food was great. Will be back.
I LOVE Go Play.
The owners and staff are amazing!!
My 5 year old wants to go there every day.
And his birthday party there last year was best he ever had! Just locked in to do it there again this year too, heâs so excited!!! 5 stars!!!
One of the best subs Iâve ever had. Service is super friendly - the wonderful ladies working whipped this sub up for me 10 minutes before closing. A lot of other places would have complained, but they acted like I was their first customer of the da
