Jiaren Cafe: Coffee, Boba & Events - Coffee shop in Santa Clara - 1171 Homestead Rd #140b, USA

LOVE coming here! The place is really relaxing and the staff is super friendly. I enjoy getting a latte or the red velvet latte- it is so good! You can also customize your sweetness level for your drink which is great. I love that Jiaren supports other small business, so usually there's an event or vendor there selling their products or hosting a workshop which can get busy but it's fun to go to!

Coffee boba (and yoga?) shop with lots of unique drinks. Overall I recommend their coffee drinks as they are really rich in coffee flavor. In my opinion I would avoid any of the black charcoal drinks as they are gritty. Yin yang milk tea (not pictured) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: surprisingly rich and creamy with a nice coffee flavor. Tiramisu latte ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: I didn't get a chunk of tiramisu but the latte was delicious. Black charcoal red velvet milk tea ⭐️⭐️: initially really excited for this drink since it was unique but the charcoal was just really gritty and I didn't really taste much red velvet nor tea. The boba was also a bit old as it was hard on the inside.

I recently visited Jiaren Cafe and was blown away by their amazing coffee! The coffee was exceptional, with a variety of flavors to choose from and their lattes are a real standout, made with top-quality beans and beautiful latte art. I asked if they could teach me latte art, and I was thrilled to discover that they did offer courses for beginners. I participated in a latte art class and the instructor was knowledgeable and patient. I learned the art of creating beautiful designs on the foam, turning each latte into a work of art. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed trying out Jiaren Cafe! I ordered their Red Velvet Charcoal Milk Tea, and it is a must-try and looks very aesthetic. This matched with the vibe of the shop, which had an inviting ambiance, and the staff are so friendly. They seemed to have a unique assortment of drinks, and I will be coming back to try more in the future!

Initial review: I really wanted to like my strawberry oat milk matcha, but the matcha powder was not blended at all. The cup was full of bitter lumps of powder and was unpleasant to drink. I tried keeping the straw in the middle of the cup to avoid lumps. Not worth $8. (2/5) Update: the owner refunded the money and will improve the service. (4/5)

This was my first time getting a drink here and I got the Red Velvet Charcoal Milk Tea. It came out so pretty (I forgot to take a picture 😭)! I would most definitely recommend it especially if you like your milk teas rich and flavorful. I will be coming back to try out their other drinks in the future!

Trendy & discrete little neighborhood cafe tucked away in a quiet Santa Clara neighborhood. They have great coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, plenty of parking, and offer things other than coffee such as yoga and latte art classes! The vibe here is generally relaxing and comforting. We enjoyed getting coffee here late on a Sunday afternoon. The place can be a bit hidden and hard to find, so make sure you have your GPS on!

Ordered a Gibraltar and the coffee was lukewarm and only half a cup!! At least make the coffee hot if you are not giving a full cup like other places. There are better places and give this one a skip. Edit: Equal parts espresso and equal parts steamed milk does not warran half a cup. Equal parts common sense and equal parts sincerity would be nice to offer on the menu next time. Thx!
