JFK Plaza Hotel - Hotel in Far Rockaway - 1074 Beach 22nd St, USA

We asked for a nonsmoking room… the whole place smells like cigarettes, bathroom was nasty, it would have been better to sleep at the airport.

STAY AWAY! The whole place was super dirty and reeked of cigarettes. There were hotel rooms missing doors and were boarded down and garbage all over the hallway. Not only were there roaches in the bathroom sink, I woke up the next morning to a bedbug under me and multiple of bites all over me. When I complained to management about my stay they refused to compensate me. I don’t recommend staying here at all especially for the price unless you are desperate.

Liked that it was across the street from Far Rockaway train station. Beyond that one plus ... Nothing else of merit. Non guests would come in to use the WiFi and bring their dramas with them. Several somewhat hostile! Rooms were noisy. Zero service! Bedsheet but no bed cover. No towels I had to ask. Key card need to be renewed daily!!! Exiting hotel was bizarre. Main floor was blocked to exit via elevator. ... $&@+#-)$@!!!

This is not bad. I stayed here when I had some work on the Condo. The room was clean. The only problems I had was that the room key kept deactivating everyday and if you get a room facing the street, you will hear cars every now and than blasting music. So I switched my room to another room across from me which was nice and quite. The subway is across the street and stores and restaurant's are 4 minutes in walking distance. The housekeeping are very helpful and made sure I had clean sheets and towels for my 7 day stay.

Although there are plenty of stores in this community they are very gritty only someone living here could understand .The hotel did not have any vending machines . The toilet paper holder was complicated the roll would not stay on ,the room was very tight . On a good note the Manager Raj is excellent, he greets each guess .answers all questions with a smile and Professionalism. The hotel is clean, and the price is right .one more thing they our guest could benefit from a book with the area restaurants and some menus

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. It's actually prettu luxurious looking. My only complaint is the area seemed a bit sketchy, but I got a parking spot right in front and really enjoyed my stay there. I missed my flight so had to rebook for the next day. This was a great option to stay for the layover. It wasn't too far from the airport and IHOP was close that I could go for breakfast when I was done.

Used twice for COVID isolation after returning from overseas trips. Wifi still doesn't work on 2nd floor after 6 months between visits. Staff helpful and diligent keeping it clean. This place is only about a year old and located at the last stop of the famous A train. But it's a place for quick stays only because of it's not family friendly location.

Terrible experience, first they gave me a room that was not made up, i had to complain to the guy he made me come all the way downstairs for another key. Went to my second room and it look liked they rush the whole cleaning process
