Beautiful and forested the whole way. Not incredibly steep at any point.
Having the river there flowing alongside you the whole way is quite a nice feature, especially for dogs.
There is an abandoned mineshaft on the west side of the canyon at the start of the hike that is an interesting historical remnant.
Nicely shaded and not a crowded trail!
Great moderate hiking place. Tons of butterflies! I like that it runs along the river. Don't forget to look up and see the remains of an old mining rail at the beginning of the trail. Equal.amounts.of sun and shade on this trail.
The trail is easy and not long. Do wear comfortable shoes and bring water. There are some spots where one can go down to the streams and cool off.
One of the best trails me and my wife have hiked! We really liked that the whole trail followed right next to the river.
Wonderful hike, watch for snakes, but keep and eye on the beautiful waterfalls as well.
Quiet, narrow with great shade areas. Carry your lunch and enjoy the sound of the river as you sit and watch it run.
I love this place, we were alone most of the hike. Just a beautiful trail. A must see.
This trail was absolutely beautiful! I loved everything about it

We really enjoyed the hike! Beautiful- enough of a challenge, but not so difficult that someone that doesn't always hike can't do it. We hiked it in comfortable shoes, and jeans. My husband carried our 9 month old on his back just fine. We are fairl
Fantastic place for summer butterflies. See my photos. I was here once before, about 8 years ago. It's had a burn since then, but according to the patriarch of a local family I met on hike (and the scenery confirmed) it has recovered nicely. It is po
These guys do a great job of stocking hard to find items for hunting, items I canât even find in ANY of the big box stores between Salt Lake City and Grand Junction. Itâs also great to support local, and if youâre bowhunter, they have an indoor
Great way to start an early birthday celebration! David was awesome and chose some shots for us that were so delicious. It's dog-friendly and you can bring in food from elsewhere. Love supporting our local craft distillers!
Perfect place for a stay in Glenwood Springs! Close to everything, also safe and quiet. Super cozy, but I can't say enough about the VIEW. We stayed in the Colorado suite and it was the best view to wake up to in the mornings. Make sure you stop by D

My favorite combination of low key and nice dinner. You canât go wrong with the short rib and the calamari. The specials are typically a strong item as well. Oh and also the chicken lollipops are great. Come as a family dinner or a nice dinner with
I loved this place!! They are popular, so don't expect to be in and out. The owner and all staff were super nice. He helped me decide what to get and gave me some sausage gravy on the side of my sandwich, and it was delicious! He also gave us free sh
