Jerry's Sandwich Shop - Breakfast restaurant in Hartford - 100 Retreat Ave, USA

We placed a decent sized order today and food was ready on time and we were greeted by Jerry and his staff right away. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We look forward to ordering from here again very soon!

Excellent breakfast sandwich and the home fries are as good as they get! Definitely a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, tucked into a medical office building basement but well worth a detour off the beaten path for the adventurous. The food and coffee are excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Jerry is quite a character too! Thanks for the great breakfast, the “deadheads” hope to be back next year!

I am not sure what the person's issue was that got sick, but I can assure you it wasn't from Jerry's. I have litteraly eaten there 7 times in the last 2 weeks being at the hospital with my son. From the pancakes, French toast, to the burritos, and burgers, everytime the food is made fresh and to order. Jerry has been awesome and enjoys a friendly conversation.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. A small gem hidden in the LL of a medical building. I was in from out of town visiting at the Hartford Hospital. I wanted to check Jerry’s out based on the excellent reviews. I initially walked into Jerry’s and immediately turned around and left thinking the reviews had to be made up. I left the building and when outside I decided I had to go back in and give it a shot. Boy am I glad I did. I had a turkey club with fries and it was delicious. It was real, fresh turkey (not slimy sliced deli turkey) and the fries were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Enjoyed it so much I went back the next day for lunch. This time I tried the grilled cajun chicken with cajun fries. Again all grilled and seasoned to perfection. This time Jerry gave a secret sauce for the fries which was unbelievable. I sat and ate there both times and the experience could not have been better. Jerry talks to you while you are there but not in forced conversation manner. He talks to you like you have been friends forever and cares about you. I will definitely be back.

The food was very very good. And the service was outstanding. Very polite friendly personable. I grew up in Hartford haven't been in the area for years went to town hall for documents and Googled for a place to eat. Very pleased that we chose Jerry's sandwiches shop.

Jerry's sandwich shop is a hidden gem in a Hartford Hospital Medical building with delicious food will definitely order from here again! The staff are extremely friendly and courteous! I'm glad I found this place will definitely be back.

I just started working in hartford, wanted to find a small local spot.. after reading all the great reviews , I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and a small order or fries while on my lunch break, The food was so delicious and left me stuffed, my co workers literally kept coming over and stealing fries it smelled so good, keep it up jerry! I will definitely be making it my new friday ritual for lunch , ill add some photos next time

Amazing food. Super friendly service. This is gonna be my new go-to spot for anytime I’m around the Hartford Hospital area. Loved it.
