Beautiful facility in lovely Bastrop Texas, thirty plus minutes east of Austin Texas. We are part of a Dance Solo competition and the staff and people were wonderful. They have a snack bar, comfortable seating, clean restrooms, and plenty of parking.

The Texas Reptile Zoo is a hidden gem in Bastrop! The facility is family owned and operated. The owners are very friendly, informative and engaged with their guests. I was especially impressed by the high level of animal activity in each exhibit!!

This place is GREAT! Another reviewer said it has "mismatched" tables and chairs, but that was not true today. It's a small business, and a good portion of their trade is takeout, so there are only a limited number of tables and chairs.

Wow! What a fun place! A friend and I met for breakfast at 8 and by the time we left it felt like most of Bastrop was there and rightfully so. We had Migas, grits, eggs, home style potatoes, biscuits, basically the works to try out a breakfast place.
