This place was great! The service was a little slow but it was a Sunday morning. My family was a little reluctant because it looks a little rough but it was great and the food was delicious. We were very surprised. Would come again and highly recommend.
Menudo Sunday took a twist. Our normal go to place is closed until March. Wifey and I decided to give Jennys country kitchen a try. Place is conveniently located near our daughters home in SFS. The parking is a bit tricky as there are spaces in front, in the back, and along the side street. Place was super busy. Plenty of staff to greet, seat and get your order taken. We looked at the menu and there are a lot of good home style dishes and Mexican favorites. The menudo we had was not bad. Dish had plenty of meat. Minimal on the maíz (hominy). I like a fairly good amount in mine. The broth seemed a little on the thickened side, something I am not used to. Wifey and I liked our menudo and we will be back to try other dishes but not make a destination for menudo. The place is small so you may need a short wait.
Jenny's has been a special breakfast place for many, for many years. I was so thrilled to have a morning time that I was able to drop in for biscuits & gravy. My #3 son ordered a Mexican breakfast which he ate everything. Jenny's is the hometown type of place for breakfast or lunch, dinner isn't served. It's cozy, the servers are always friendly, you never know what old friend you might run into. It's a place where memories have been made and old friends remembered. I'm glad that Jenny's is still here.
Fantastic little hole in the wall (literally)... food was great, prices are decent, service was excellent combined with the welcome friendliness atmosphere. This place is a jewel... classic full customer service at its finest. If I need to say a negative it would be parking and a small place, but they definitely make it up with great food and fantastic service... Highly recommended this place❤
Service is great. Really first experience left me wanting. Chili Verde chilaquiles with meat was good. Not my favorite sauce. I was looking for more of an American country breakfast joint. This place has more of a Latino LA country breakfast vibe. Known for their chili Verde. The biscuit and gravy was a bit salty. Wanted to give a 3.5 Star. Would i give it another try? Maybe 🤔
Limited parking on the rear lot. The place is small so there could be a wait. The potato’s are to skip. the over easy eggs are more like medium. The dishes over all are bland. Coffee is warm but they come around often to refill. Staff is friendly and it’s a locals place to eat. Would not visit again as friendly staff is not enough to bring me back. It’s a skip if your in the area or first timers here
Incredible breakfast choices. Chilaquiles, pancakes and eggs, carne asada, chicken nuggets, it’s all good. Great spot for delicious home cooked food.
The staff is excellent. Very much recommended if you are in the area. My groomer is located at Petco in Whittier and I travel from the Torrance area so I find things to do while I wait. My husband and I found this restaurant while searching for new places to try and it did not disappoint. Have been there twice and plan on returning.

The word is out: a speakeasy brewutchery. They have the meats. They have the beers. They have the green velvet seats. They have your money, but itâs worth it! Easy drinking styles. Classic speakeasy feel. Lots of gold varnish. Cool spot to find!
Like the place, looks clean and very welcoming. We came on a Saturday around 7 pm, party of five. Wait time was about 15 minutes, the restaurant was not too crowded. From the front host to our waitress, Amanda, the staff was very kind, friendly, and
Great place to have a date or to get together with old friends. We went there Thursday night around 8 pm. The bar was full but we were able to get a couple of tables together for a group of 10 of us. We ordered several drinks that were Tasty n Delici
I hit the drive thru for a quick lunch order. The cheeseburgers were good and tasted delicious along with the grilled chicken from the salad that was ordered. If you order the salad though, you might want to ask them to pack the hot chicken separate

My kids elementary school band performed there this evening. Nice little theater. You can see pretty good from just about any seat. I parked in the library parking lot right across the street... Don't know if it's allowed or not, but I did and didn't
Such a friendly staff and such delicious food! My sister and I got carne asada nachos with beans and it was one the most flavorful nachos that Iâve had for a while. The meat was so tender and flavor and paired so well with the pickle onions. The bu

A beautiful location with a great view. If youâre there early enough you might catch the deer grazing. There is no cellular reception in or around the crypts but if you stand by the fountain you should get a decent signal.
