I love this place. I come here to relax by the river and clear my head. Every time I go I climb inside. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
Amazing history and memories are carved into the walls here. I suggest going with someone who is local, who has grown up here all of their life. The family members that we were with told us what it was like when the original trains and horses and wagons pulled lumber and supplies through. When there were still battles between the native Tribes and the settlers. We could see where one of the other would sit and wait for the other to come around a curve to ambush them from a flat high ground that had a natural rock formation that hid them from below. It was amazing and awe inspiring. I desperately want to go to where my great grandparents got married in Eastern Europe. My origin story...
Such a cool gem off the side of the road driving through the Jemez. I highly recommend stopping, there is a decent amount of parking on the side of the road so multiple cars can stop. Make sure you go up into the little cave if possible. There is pooled water and sediment structures that are just so interesting. Beautiful spot to quickly stop.
A site to see. stop and view this natural damn. This is worth stopping to see. Amazing
A unique place that has a warm spring as well an interesting rock formation. It's a popular stop and parking is just a wide spot in the road. It's free tho!
I love this place and waterfall so much! Plenty of parking and beautiful views! ✨️😇💦💯
Neat place and able to hike around area.
Really cool formation. Perfect spot to stretch your legs and enjoy the beauty. Can climb on top of the formation with caution as it is a bit slippery.
It's an amazing place to have a picnic with your family and rest next to a running small river. Once you had a picnic; now, it is time to explore the beautiful nature by hiking and following spectacular trail that will eventually bring you to the top
Stopped by for an hour on my way to see more of the woods and hike. Was a week day in September, so it was chill and easy and not crowded. Great views. Hot natural springs. Very relaxing. Worth the $25/hr.
The perfect cafe with nice food and bakery options! This is my second or third time Iâm stopping here when I come to Jemez Springs! If youâre looking for a breakfast or brunch spot perfect for you!
