Jeff's Texas Style BBQ - Barbecue restaurant in Marysville - 9214 State Ave, USA

We visited on Sunday, July 30th, 2023. We got a rack of ribs, brisket birria, a smoked turkey leg, and a couple of jalapeño and habanero sausages. The meat was really good, but the ribs were overcooked. The sausages were excellent, and we ended up getting 4 more of those to take home. The Mac and cheese, chili, and baked beans were very well done, but the baked beans are pretty sweet for my taste. The turkey leg was good, but a little dried out for my liking. They charge for their very mediocre BBQ sauce, and no one in my party liked it. It was uninspired and super sweet and completely unremarkable. Don't ruin your meat with this stuff. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and the staff were wonderful. We had a great lunch and look forward to coming back soon!! We took the birria to go, but we snuck a taste and it was ACES. It's going to make some incredible tacos!!

Wife and I drove up from Seatac last Saturday after reading so much about this place.. being the BBQ snob that I am, just had to try it out. We got 2 Big Trays to go, one with ribs, sides were coleslaw and baked beans, and the other tray featured brisket, sides were potato salad and mac n cheese. We added a link of the "Two" Hot saudage and also ordered a pint of the brisket Birria, which was my first time having this dish. We enjoyed the flavor. First off, the meats were SUPERB..ribs were very tender and I LOVED how they included both fatty parts and burnt ends of the brisket, which are my favorite! The sausage also was very tasty, with some minor heat, absolutely delicious! Major plus for the large portions! Amongst the sides, the baked beans and the coleslaw were the standouts and some of the best we've ever tasted! The potato salad and mac n cheese were just ok. Overall I would highly recommend this place for good quality BBQ and definitely worth the drive from the Seattle area.

See pictures. Bad experience. They serve different foods to different groups of people. Our meat dry and small. Seems like left overs. Especially the ribs, very dry and thin. We saw what they serve to others, fresh and big. Taste good though. Asian people avoid this store!

BBQ brisket sandwich was good! Very tender meat. The Mac and cheese was heavenly and the pickles are also delicious! Not the biggest fan of the BBQ sauce unfortunately as I prefer a sweeter bbq

A friend recommended this place to us! He is a chef so we believed him and we were not disappointed. The meat was very soft and delicious. We asked for 1 pound for 2 people and it was enough. 😊 We will definitely keep coming. Btw I’m a photographer and I really loved the photos in the wall!

An excellent Texas style bbq place! It’s obviously clear that they are proud of their foods. The ribs were outstanding? The pork belly was equally impressive. It had just the right amount of thin layers of fat and not greasy at all. Excellent flavors in every bite even without additional sauce. They do charge you 50 cents for additional sauce which they did NOT mention until I wondered why my bill came higher than expected. This is the reason why I could not give a 5*.

Very good food nice and tender ribs Their Mac and baked beans are phenomenal I really recommend them Clean bathroom. Friendly staff Only three downsides but the positives far outweigh the bad ones 1. Ribs have a bit more bone than usual 2. No water is given and 3. Kinda pricey

Ribs, brisket, sausage, and brisket chili were all good and tasty. Potato salad and mac & cheese were comparable with a big grocery store deli. All in all, I enjoyed it and will go again.
