Jefferson's Roadhouse - Steak house in Yreka - 1281 S Main St, USA

A great place! The staff there are very friendly and welcoming. We had an amazing Margarita Chicken Salad (mixed greens, grilled marinated chicken breast, black beans, corn, Avocado, onions tomatoes, Cotija cheese, cilantro, and tortilla strips, with Chipotle Ranch Dressing); the Bacon Blue Cheese Burger (Super Rare! As requested), and a side of Onion Rings. All of these food choices were phenomenal! We will definitely stop again on the return home! Shout out to Shea, our server; she was delightful!

Under new ownership isn't always a good thing. Just had to remove this from my saved stops. Salad and soup were really good. Had high expectations for dinner based off of previous visits - ribs, chicken, mashed potatoes, and "seasonal" veggies. Ribs were decent and a huge portion. Chicken was just slathered in a disgusting sauce, had zero flavor otherwise. "Seasonal" veggies were canned green beans. Mashed potatoes came out cold and had an odd dill flavor to them. Potatoes were sent back and they were microwaved along with the green beans which were now massacred and inedible. Wait staff was attentive and polite however. Very disappointing and expensive.

Quite clean, good service, friendly and welcoming. Had the veggie burger, bloody Mary and steak salad. All were good. Steak was slightly overcooked, not a big deal. That Bloody Mary was really good. Can't stress enough how friendly and caring the staff was. 9.5/10 would recommend.

Got the prime rib, it comes with plenty of sides so it seems good for the price. The clam chowder soup was good but it was weird to me that it had bacon in it. The mac and cheese was kraft mac and cheese (see photo) and my husband did not like the prime rib he said it was under seasoned. I liked the prime rib but only with the horseradish butter that costs extra. The vegetables were very well cooked and very well seasoned. The baked potato tasted like it came from wendy's.

Friendly service. Good food. Reasonable price. Walking distance from the place we stayed. Indoor and outdoor seating. Open for lunch and dinner only. No masks required. Pretty setup outside. Only has one restroom 🚻

Nice little local place mix of locals tourists passing through on their way to or from Oregon. Danielle who runs the bar was my server and was awesome. Took care of everybody as if it was her only table. Started off with a well-made drink followed up by a blue cheese wedge salad with tomatoes and amazing gobs of bacon yummy bacon. Followed by the Jefferson burger which is a half pound bacon cheeseburger with onion rings squished in for comfort. It was all really good finalized with carrot cake for dessert which frankly was too rich for me to have more than two or three bites. I get to Yreka a couple times a year I will definitely come back!

My lunch break was filled with a surprising treat. Won Ton tacos and zucchini sticks. The tacos were crunchy and sweet. Not sure what they put on them, but they have an interesting mini onion ring appearance. Great choice for a first timer.
