My family and I absolutely love JB! I grew up a block away from there and now I have the privilege of taking my son there as well and I truly hope that it continues for the generations to come. We come here all year round. There are several different activities you can choose from. However summertime is our favorite because we love swimming at the pool. It's cheap and it's got multiple areas to play in. There's a rock climbing wall, lazy river, splash pad, 12' high dive, a regular diving bored, a pool that's 5ft deep, and a water slide. I definitely recommend taking the family.
A nice scenic walk over the railroad tracks and down to the river. It hurt my heart to see that the bronze plaques had been pried off the stone entryways. So somebody got a couple bucks and we all lose. What's wrong with the metal scrapper firm that would take those in and assume it was waste? Shame, fine and jail time, I'd say.
Lots of trails, and plenty of nature. So many neat things to do. Hiking trails, archery, disc golf, seasonal events, etc. A great place to bring the family and enjoy the outdoors. If you're looking for something to do, don't forget about visiting local parks. It was a great day, and had a blast hanging out here.
Wonderful park that's almost a hidden gem in South County St. Louis. Full of history, walking trails and fine museums. Great views of the Mississippi River and Great place to view some wildlife. Plenty of deer roam the park.
Lovely park with a nice trail and plenty of wildlife to see on your walk. If you want to see plenty of deer go closer towards sunset.
Don't know much about the park. Just pulled into the parking lot, they have a walking track. I don't know how long it is. Looks like they took about 20 minutes to go around when people did. There's a lot of other options. There's a couple museums, telegraph weapons all in the same area down the street, so it's worth a stop.
So much history here so many things too see. You must visit here at least once!
Large historical park in South STL that has a long black-topped walkway on the edge of the woods along the surrounding roadway. Fun for exercise fanatics & those who just want a leisurely stroll. Great for your pets also. Deer have the run of the park & graze comfortably along with their human counterparts, both harmoniously enjoying nature together. The park has ample pavilions for picnics, family events & corporate functions. The park has significant landmarks that memorialize important events of this area's history. Immediately, south of the park are the historical Missouri National Guard base, Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery & the Veteran's Hospital.

Been there for 50th annual fire balloon festival. Clouded. But enjoy the ballon, parachute show and fireworks on opening day. Bring your own mat or chairs. Go at least one hour early to get parking and space to stay. The next day, there was a ballon r
Lovely nature and hiking area tucked away in St. Louis. There are paved trails and some unpaved trails. You can hike along a ridge that overlooks a river which is very scenic. There were also lots of deer here! Parking can get tight.
Lovely pavilion with seven large tables, two trash cans, a large grill, and easy to walk to from street parking. There are nearby benches and the pavilion gets partial sun in the afternoon.

Went to a late night concert at Off Broadway and stayed here afterwards. Nicely decorated, spacious room - and I love the 1890s architecture. This part of town has so much character. The innkeeper and his dog were friendly. Will definitely stay again
Cafe de Blaire is a hidden gem in downtown St. Louis. My husband and I ordered caramel machiatto and found this to be finely balanced medium to strong coffee. The kids ordered the handmade ice cream in waffle cones. The ice cream is super creamy and
