Definitely worth the hype and trying the UP favorite. Great flavor and I enjoyed the pasties. I wish they have smaller size for the savory flavors so we can try more than one flavor.
My girlfriend and I wanted to try a pasty from somewhere we've never been, and Jean Kay's flank steak and rutabaga pasty was filling and delicious!
OMG! Food for the soul! Such a variety and such good food. And, the nicest people you will EVER meet. We have been coming here since 1994. The food is just as good as ever. It is so good that we planned a stop in Iron Mountain, Michigan, during our 50th wedding anniversary, North America RV vacation. So, after 14,500 miles, 2 months in Canada, 1 month in Alaska, and continuing with our return to SC, we made our rondevu and stocked up. Thanks for the wonderful experience.
If you are from the UP, you know pasties are the great comfort food with alot of history dating back to the miners. If you are from this area it's a big debate of which place offers the best pasties. I am lucky my wife is from Iron Mountain Michigan and had an opportunity to stop by Jean Kay's. There are several in the area but I would have to say Jean Kay's is one of the best. The pasties are made fresh with good quality ingredients. The crust is super flaky. I ended up getting 8 pasties to bring back to VA. A must stop if you are in Iron Mountain. Don't take my word for it. Try a pasty and find out.
Fantastic! We were in from Maryland and never had one before.
We got the chicken and broccoli pasty and the steak pasty. Flavorful and moist inside...and the dough was fantastic, light and tasty. The gravy was delicious too! Must have!
Jean Kay’s Pasties are definitely among my top 5 favorite pasty shops in the UP! The lady working was very nice and helpful. The pasties were delicious and filing. First time trying a steak one, very good! I bought them half baked and brought them home to cook. My house smelled so good for hours after 😋
The best pasties around!! Great little shop! The most cute, friendly, and helpful ladies I've seen 😍
The food from this place must be infused with magic! The ladies in charge were so friendly and accommodating as well. The pasties were so good we had to come back for more the next day. Perfect place to stop in while traveling for a quick bite to eat!

The food is really good and the service was fantastic. It was not busy when we went because it was an odd time, but my wife and I had been in the area for other reasons that day. We will be returning again and again.
I ordered a 4 topping thin crust pizza online for carryout. I asked for it a little well done. The pizza was massive and had no shortage of cheese or toppings. It was immaculate. Perfectly cooked to crunchy perfection. The owner was also really cool

This is like the A&W's of long ago. It's always busy and with good reason. Great food at great prices and the A&W is made fresh daily. My grandson couldn't believe how different it was than what he has had his entire life. If you are close to this pl
Beautiful course!! So glad I got a chance to play here again but not my best game. The tee boxes are like walking on carpet...what a switch from public courses! I believe they're open to the public on Mondays now. It was $72 per person.
Stopped in here for a Friday cod fish fry and it did not disappoint. I am up here at a buddy's camp helping get ready for deer season and he mentioned this place as there are not a ton of options in Crystal Falls.
Food was very good and it was a hea
Their bakery is always awesome and Pam is the sweetest employee! Make sure you check out the "day old" section to get a deal in the morning. My go to are the muffins and cookies.
