Loved it! The chicken kabob was so juicy and delicious. I usually stick to my comfort foods but decided to give Mediterranean a try and I will definitely be coming back. The desserts that one of the employees gave me was pretty good.

Hello everyone, First of all, I don't enjoy writing bad reviews. I'm doing it for the purpose of helping others use their money wisely and don't feel insulted like I did after eating here with my wife. This place used to be good (about 1 year ago), but as the newer reviews are mentioning, they have started selling real bad Mediterranean food. The worst we've tried and we love Mediterranean food. 1. The rice is dry and lacks flavor. 2. The texture of the hummus tasted low quality and quite gross. 3. The meat was burned. We even had an experience where they ran out of pita bread and still charged us the same price. They didn't forewarn us that they ran out. Overall, the management and the quality of the food are very disappointing. I would kindly warn people to stay away and save your money. We drive a bit further out to eat at another Mediterranean restaurant, but it's worth it every time. My desire with this review is to inform, and hopefully, there will be change for the sake of the customer. Thank you.

Food was good at the start. Last experience was not pleasant. Walked in to order, After 30 minutes I asked about our food, and was told it would be out soon. Another 30 minutes went by, and noticed they were cleaning up and about to close. I asked again and they seemed to have either given my order to someone else or overlooked the ticket order. They didn't know, and didn't seem to bother to address it. They seemed eager to just get out. I just got my refund and no food. (Bad customer service)

Atmosphere: This is a small restaurant located in uptown whittier. It's attached to a shared building space with several other restaurants. The booths had seats that were visibly detaching from the base and may be a safety hazard. The restroom was clean but lacked a changing table for those with younger kids. Food: The meat options here were good and full of flavor. The rice and hummus lacked flavor. The hummus in particular tasted like blended can garbanzo beans. The Kafka, chicken, beef, and Lamb skewers were delicious. Service: The food service was slow but they did comp. Some people in our party a serving of rice so 5* for recognizing your issues and making it up to the consumer. Overall: Unfortunately, the quality of the food and overall ambiance of the location aren't overcome but the amicable staff or just the meat options. and this place get just 3 stars. Maybe 3.5 if it was an option...

Food is good, and yes it's authentic, possibly returning as well. Four stars, done. The missing star however, for: Ordered dine in, get it in bags for take out? Come on guys, this is not drive thru. Lentil soup was good, but no lemon on the side, someone forgot the authentic recipe? Staff talk louder than the TV itself, deal with your stuff quietly, right? .

Loved the chicken kabob here! The chicken was mosit and they gave me hefty portions! The plate was 8.99 and it comes with pita, rice, and two sides ( I got the Mediterranean salad and red pickled turnip which was very good!) The garlic sauce that comes with it is amazing as well! My boyfriend had the chicken shawarma and he said it was also delicious. Overall great portions, tasty food and great price! Will definitely be back and I'm so glad to have Mediterranean food in Whittier now!

I drove 20 minutes to pick up an Uber order to find out it was canceled. Why in the heck does this joint falsely advertise a special and they don't honor it? I'll never return to this so called commercial mediterranean place again
