The first time me and my girlfriend went here it was packed and our food took almost an hour to come out, and that’s understandable it’s packed, then we ordered the beignets after our food and that took almost another hour to come out. They gave us a gift card for it which was cool, but then just tonight I ordered beignets with my girlfriend again and the dough was raw all the way through. Very gross and I don’t understand how they can mess up twice in a row.

Unique shop. Complicated menu. I ordered the blackened chicken a la mer. The sauce was divine. The chicken however was difficult to eat due to the blackened seasoning. It wasn’t and didn’t taste burnt but it was in that realm. Someone else mentioned charcoal or carbon and I would agree. I had to drown it in the sauce, which again was divine. Next time I will go with a grilled chicken. It’s worth trying again absolutely. Just ask for a recommendation. Kelsey the bartender was very kind and loves what she does and where she works.

This is hands down the best Cajun restaurant in Lubbock! To this day, we have never had a bad meal! These guys really know how to cook up some good food! The food was amazing! The sweat tea was perfect. Honestly, I couldn't ask for a better meal. Cajun food is amazing when it's done right, and this place does it very well! The stuffed catfish I had smothered in crayfish Etoufee and man was it good. The stuff zucchini was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The stuff was so good we had to mop it up with a little bread! The gumbo is perfect! Great flavor, perfectly seasoned, and you get a little of everything in it. The crayfish etoufee outstanding! You know, being so far away from Louisiana, I didn't think we would find Cajun this good in Lubbock, but I'm glad we did! I would highly recommend coming here and eating!

Really disappointed ☹️. We had the rice and beans, popcorn shrimp, catfish bites and blackened chicken Alfredo. The fettuccine and catfish bites were edible, but EVERYTHING lacked flavor! The shrimp looked really great but tasted like fried flour. The red beans and rice were trash.. I've been here once before and had a different experience but this was years ago. Won't be back

We came on a Monday night and was seated right away. There was a steady crowd, but no wait. The service was good. The food came out with only a short wait, and prepared fresh. The margaritas were just okay. The decor was unique.

Stopped in here for a late lunch after work and before heading home. Menu’s we’re somewhat well used, otherwise things were not bad. Their stuffed mushroom appetizer was VERY yummy. My wife had the Chicken a la mer that was delicious and I had the garlic seafood pasta, I was a little disappointed that I had to play hunt the seafood in amongst all the pasta, but it was tasty non the less. Props to our server who was in the restaurant by her self and was super busy, but still managed to provide good service.

Haven't been here in awhile, about 2 years. Waitress was a little slow for us, helped a table that arrived after us. Had to ask for silverware and bread. Never brought salads when we finally got entrees told us she would bring them right out told her to forget about them. On a positive note one in our party is allergic to shell fish she did have the cook come to table and said he would make sure definitely no cross contamination would occurred. Food tasted great like we had remembered. Not sure if we will return though. Came back today everything was good, service, food!
