Every time I have come here, I’ve had a more than stellar experience. The owner is so friendly and charismatic. He builds rapport with his customers & recognizes me when I come in. You can tell how committed he is to not only his craft but also his customer’s experience with the food and service. Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been absolutely delicious (& priced super well) and so meticulously prepared. I was told the measures the business goes through to be eco friendly and eliminate food waste and I think that is wonderful. I have also been told that the business partners with a local baker to supply to delicious bread. Also, I love the freezer of $1 ice creams & soups!!! This business is full of intentionally and superbly good vibes! Please, go see for yourself! (Pictured is the Philly Grilled Cheese)

Went there for the first time today and I was really impressed! I always get coffee at Saints Rest but never explored the deli side. I got the “Sheila” grilled sub and it was FANTASTIC!!! The workers were so chill and happy, joking around with one another and the customers, and the whole environment was very casual. I will for sure be stopping back and telling all my friends about this amazing sandwich shop!

Delicious sandwiches. Quality ingredients. Good bread. Made with care. I love the specials and flavor combinations they come up with. Owner is a lovely guy who works his tail off each day to offer good lunch time grub.

This place is 5 stars when it comes to the food. The reason for 3 stars is the people who were working when I stopped. The man who took my order (skinnier man with a beard) was very nice, polite, and I thought genuinely liked his job, he also receives 5 stars. Now the gentleman who was making food (heavier set guy) i give 2 stars. When I walked in he was making food for a family of 4 he had just got it made when they walked up and asked nicely if they could get it to go. Not an unreasonable request. The gentleman who was making the food got very short and told them they would bring it out then proceed to throw a temper tantrum while packaging their food. Topped off by throwing the plastic trays they use for people dinning in. Overall I enjoyed my meal but really didn't want to deal with the man acting like a baby in the back.

Visited on 11/13/23 between 3:15-3:45pm. 5 star quality food & service. Only downside I saw was a little pricey. $14 for a regular sliced bread Luigi sandwich + chips & soda. Got 1 scoop of ice cream afterwards for $3 (reasonable).

We always get friendly and good service from the guys at Jay's Deli, and the food is excellent. The atmosphere is a bit complicated since they share space with Saints' Rest Coffee Shop: sometimes crowded and it is confusing to know what to get where.

Tryed Jay's deli ! It was delicious! Great sandwich! Good place to have a lunch or a sandwich. Good music, great location. Good stuff and friendly. All out great place, good food !! Will be back for sure !! 👍🏾👍🏾
