They're open again! Great service and top quality sushi. So awesome to see this location open again after being closed during COVID.

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING. HOT, FRESH, TASTE WAS WONDERFUL, EVERYTHING THEY DIDNT MISS A BEAT. WE WILL BE RETURNING. THE DRINK WAS SOOOOOOO GOOD. THE DRINK WAS A MANGO LADY BELL. WE HAD THE THE MEXICAN ROLL AND THE MOTHER EARTH ROLL, THE BURGER WAS THE PRETTY GIRL IT WAS ALL DELICIOUS 😋. AND THE WRAP WHICH IS AN APPETIZER IT WAS SOOOO DELICIOUS AS WELL. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS AMAZING THE SERVICE WAS AMAZING. OVERALL I HAD TO GIVE A 5!

The food here is great! I highly recommend the Lunch pick 2 special. The Bulgogi Wrap & Mac and Cheese are my go to. The bar also makes a fantastic chocolate martini.

I know that there has been a lot to say about Jay's. This is a review of my experience when we went to dinner there. First off, it was a Wednesday, so it was not crowded. There may have only been a couple other people there. The staff was friendly and made sure to check up on us on a regular basis. The food was good. I had "The Burger." Did not realize it came with an egg but that was OK. Also has the Whiskey Onion Rings. Those were perfect. If you know what a cheap onion ring is like you know that you bite and then pull out the entire onion leaving the batter. This is not the case with what I had. My wife had the Poke Bowl. Large portion, fresh tasting, took about half of it home and finished it later. All in all, good food. Price wasn't too bad. I had tea and wife had water, our bill was about $24 a person.

A shell of what it once was. Food was overcooked, staff looked bored, sushi was mediocre at best. We used to frequent this jays before it closed down, and am sad to see how it is now. It might have the name, but definitely not the chefs or the staff it used to have. I had the “burger” and tuna crackers. Burger was more on the well side, asked for med rare. Egg was undercooked. And the tuna crackers were hard. Wife had two of the daily special rolls and only ate half. That’s never happened!! Our waitress was pleasant but didn’t know some simple menu questions when asked.

This place is a frequent for the family and the food is always amazing, but the service is always hit or miss. Sometimes you get the best service you have ever and sometimes you question why you walked in. We waited 15 minutes to get water, about 10 minutes to get a table, in an empty restaurant. They tried to sit 5 adults at a four topper, which is just going to be crowded and uncomfortable. We ordered drinks from the bar and the bartender ended up bringing the second drinks and said she didn’t want the ice to melt, that is how long we waited. But as I said the food is always amazing, although we only got 1/2 out table and had to wait a significant amount of time for the second 1/2. If service was more consistent this restaurant would definitely have 5 stars.

We ate here on a trip to Goldsboro shopping. The waitress was friendly and gave good service. The food on the other hand was not good at all. Two of us had the Bulgogi. One person had a burger and the other person had a chicken sandwich and we all shared a chicken wing appetizer. The best part of the entire meal was the chicken wings and the lettuce underneath of them The burger was soggy, and the meat had no flavor The Bulgogi was extremely dry Had no flavor either one person ate maybe five bites and the other person had to pour the sauce and a ton of soy sauce to eat it. We had to exchange our drinks Because the Pepsi was so watered down it was not really drinkable We spent over $100 on food that was worth maybe what the chicken wings cost of 17.00. I think that the side should be included in the price of the meal instead of charge separately, so people understand what they’re paying for like everywhere else . My experience here was very subpar, and I would never return based on this experience. When I am paying 120.00 for a meal I at the very least expect it to be better then McDonalds.

Great customer service. The food was absolutely amazing! We had the bulgogi fries, bulgogi wrap, and the tuna sushi. Very relaxed environment. Very nice place in downtown Goldsboro to enjoy a meal. Will definitely be returning in the near future! A+
