Jay State Forest - State park in Richford - 1229 Portland St. #201, USA

Hiked Mount Carleton. Very good hike. Only drawback no view at the summit due to tree overgrowth. Could a small lookout be created?

Great place to come to snowboard or ski friendly staff nice shuttle bus service water park and rock climbing for the kids or adults clean accommodations overall great experience.

This is a serious skiers mountain despite all the new bells and whistles. When you do need refreshment, great options and fantastic staff. The waterpark is a great option when the kids aren't up to skiing, though it can get crowded. Have fun!

There are lots of hiking trails in the forest itself as well as on protected private lands abutting the forest. Most everyone I've met in these here hills are wonderful warm friendly people ESPECIALLY IF you enquire as to whether they would allow you to cross their property. Most do. So beautiful up here! So quiet that you actually know what quiet sounds like!!!

The accomodations were great! Please consider an upgrade on the couch/hideabed however loved the full kitchen and the other beds were fantastic! Also like having 2 bathrooms in the cottages, a must with 3 teenagers! We love Jay Peak; when the skiing is fair we are able to hit the water park for some family fun!
