We love cabin camping here. The cabins are awesome. One outlet, enough to keep the phone charged and run a single burner. 4 bunk beds, sleeps 8. Fire pit, charcoal grill and picnic table at each site. Plenty of hiking trails.

Great park make a reservation and go camping take a hike or ride your bicycle. Great place to take your family.

Mosquitos were pretty bad, but we did see several does with turkeys following right behind.

Nature rules!!!. Splendid place to walk and ride your bike on nature trails. It has a playground area too. I highly recommend to save the location of your parking spot because the park is so big that you can easily get lost. Remember is a wilderness park.

Me and my brother went there to run the Starkey half-stomp and we competed in the 10K. Came in second and third and it was an amazing experience would highly recommend and would do it again. There was water, snacks, tshirts, and prizes for all age groups and for the 1st place finishers

I think I reviewed Starkey Park before once or twice. And here I am again writing about it, just that fact makes it kinda obvious that I must like it there. Already 20 yrs ago I went there to the horse corral to walk my dog. I just found out recently the cabins they have there for rent are only $ 20 - 40.- My first and only experience of getting lost in the wilderness I also had at Starkey Park. I believe I mentioned it in my last review in 2021. I walked off the trails but was only a half mile away from my car. Walking back to the car turned out to be more of a challenge. In 90°F only in sandals, shorts and t-shirt I noticed that there was a creek and the surroundings looked different. The trees and brush got more dense and I couldn't hear any people or cars anymore. I called a friend that waited at my car for me and told him what happened, that I didn't know where I'm at and how to get back to the car. He honked the horn of my car so I could hear in what direction to walk but I couldn't hear anything. He called the Park Rancher to start looking for me with helicopter but one rancher found me by truck 3 hours later, 2.5 miles away from my car.
