JaxSpice - Indian restaurant in St Johns - 150 Fountains Way, USA

I normally don't eat Indian food simply because of videos circulating online, but this restaurant was a nice surprise. It was very clean, the food tasted really good and our server, I couldn't remember her name but she was attentive and provided great service. Keep it clean and we'll always eat there.

The food is amazing! We preferred the food to the restaurant in NYC. A gem of a find in a shopping mall on our drive down to South Florida . Highly recommend to stop. You will be delighted with a great meal and service.

Very friendly staff. Our favorite food items were grilled vegetables (amazing) and lamb meatballs (amazing). The only negative we had was that deep-fried callaflower wasn't crispy enough for us (still good tho) and naan was undercooked. We plan to come back and try other items.

Excellent service! The food was so fresh and delicious 😋 Great flavors 👍🏻 This was my first experience with Butter Chicken and I loved it! We had the garlic naan and onion kulcha, Chicken Biryani, and the chicken 65, everything was so good! Will be back again 😊

It was our first time eating Indian food and I had heard from locals that this place was the real deal in terms of authenticity. Honestly, I don’t know much about Indian food but if this wasn’t authentic than I really don’t need it to be because everything that we ordered was absolutely amazing and full of flavor. I can't really put in words to describe the flavors exactly because I’m not that accustomed to the unique ingredients and spices of Indian cuisine but for my first experience here, I am more than intrigued to come back again and again to try out even more dishes. Every dish had its own unique flavors and sauces and nothing we ate was boring. We were very indecisive and confused with what to order for our first time but our waitress Johanna was so nice, attentive and patient with both my wife and me. She basically held our hands in terms of what to order based off the amount of spice we desired, and which type of foods would pair well with certain types of curry. She recommended the Chicken 365 for an appetizer and wow was that a good choice. My wife had the butter chicken which was amazing, and I had the lamb and shrimp that I had paired with traditional curry sauce. I chose a spice level of two which had just the right amount of kick for me but wasn’t overwhelming. We’ve become so use to plaza restaurants in this area having little to no ambience, but this restaurant had a soft elegance to it with high ceilings, large windows, a touch of artwork throughout the restaurant, a bar centrally located with nice, relaxing music playing in the background. Their menu was on a tablet which to me was so cool and user-friendly with pictures of basically every dish available to see. Jax spice, I’m so glad to have such a unique restaurant in the community with amazing food, service and ambience! We will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for excellent, authentic, Indian cuisine, this is the place. The food was amazing - full of flavor yet light. It is the best Indian food I’ve tasted in all of my travels. The staff was very friendly and attentive. You will not be disappointed.

Good food and service. Although it may feel as though the orders are slow to the table, it is clear each meal is cooked to order. I certainly plan to return regularly

Jax spice is known for best authentic Indian cuisine food. We visited this restaurant for the first time on 8/13 and had a great experience. Waiter Serena was amazing and took care of ours and kids needs.
