Java Cafe Taiwanese Chef - Taiwanese restaurant in City of Industry - 17980 Castleton St, USA

We visited the area and stopped by to try based on reviews and we were happy we did! Bottom line is we tasted ‘authentic feel’ we haven’t experienced anywhere else. We aren’t sure if it was the ingredients or the recipe, the taste put us back in local food we experienced in Taipei. Everything we had (pictured below) were excellent.

This place is excellent for authentic Taiwanese food. Great portion sizes. Recommend reading their daily specials deals.

Pretty decent Taiwans cuisine. I like the minced pork rice the best; sweet and salty. The fried oyster is also pretty tasty.

Authentic Taiwanese cuisine. Boiled chicken and Xiao Chao were pretty good. Making Bamboo with shredded pork was okay.

One of the hidden gem in the City of Industry. A must try for Taiwanese/Hakka cuisine lovers.

Almost everything is good here. Very close to what we would get in Taiwan, that local flavor. I feel it’s still a bit on the salty side; especially the three-cup chicken. Overall, the foods are delicious.

It is not bad. I think it is a little pricey compared to similar other places. Among other things, we also tried their 客家小炒 and although the portion size was good, l think there is much better tasting 客家小炒 elsewhere at other Taiwanese places around the 626. The menu has a good range of choices though.
