If you choose to hire Jappel I’d recommend paying by project not the hour. We had Jess come to our home and had a list of 6 things we needed done. When he left two were complete, some he left instructions for how we could do them ourselves, he spent a decent amount of his time on Google trying to figure out how to do what we asked about before he arrived. Some he had confirmed he could do via email but then got to our house and said it wasn’t doable. I spent over $400 for three things: backing up a phone, how to do things myself, and setting up my wireless printer. Positive: he was very nice.

I've been working with Jason for about 6 months now. In this time he's installed a firewall, internet protection, email protection, I've signed up for his managed IT service and there's probably more that I'm forgetting. Jason's knowledge and service are exceptional. He's very pleasant to work with, provides the complicated information to me in a way that I understand, and he's very responsive. Jason did impeccable work mounting my TV on the Wall with such precision and care that I never experienced before. It looks like a home theatre!!! Furthermore he came in wearing a mask and cautiously respected the social distance that I feared the most. For that reason I postponed the installation that I desperately needed. He sanitized the whole area he worked around and even the TV was wiped down. He also removed some network wiring that I didn't even realize posed danger. As he was ready to leave he noticed an old alarm system still plugged in and disconnected it for me. I feel confidant with Jappel Tech performance and at the same time safe.
