Beautiful and very peaceful. Set down and relax for a while.
Very beautiful and serene way to punctuate a walk through the WWII memorial.
It's a cute little area. It's extremely small though, and no water running in the stream. It's nice that it's adjacent to the Museum of the Pacific War because it gives you more to look at. If you're already in the area I'd definitely say check it out.
Small but peaceful. Visited 4 years ago and again today. It is just as beautiful as I remember.
At the first glance, it’s quite ironic to see a japanese garden sitting beside the pacific war museum.
The garden itself is peaceful and quiet. I visited after finish my germany style lunch. Thanks god we are in the peaceful world so that we could enjoy the culture from the enemies of WW2.
After the visiting, I realized it’s a clever design- both japanese household and the US are the victim of the war.
Beautiful garden and story. The Museum of the Pacific War has changed dramatically, and is much improved, since my last visit 25 years ago.
Parts of the Museum were only open Fri/Sat/Sunday so check times before you visit.
There is a small fee to visit inside the museum but the gardens and outdoor displays are all free.
Sadly, in the memorial garden, several memorial plaques had been removed. Whether for restoration, or due to vandals, I don't know.
Beautiful place to stroll and remember heroes from the past. It's peaceful and inspiring to see.
