I can’t say enough good things about Handy Oysters! This place truly deserves a 5-star review.
First and foremost, their staff is not only welcoming but also the friendliest you’ll ever encounter. They make you feel like family from the moment you walk in.
Now, let’s talk about the oysters – fresh, amazing, and a true delicacy. I absolutely love going there on Saturdays for their grilled oysters – a personal favorite. Plus, they often host special events with live music and unique menu items like steak dinners, which adds an exciting touch to your dining experience.
Handy Oysters is not just about oysters; they offer a variety of options. You can grab fresh salmon filets, oysters of all sizes to take home, and don’t miss out on their spiked oysters and delicious dips.
Their clam chowder is a must-try, and the fish tacos are simply amazing. The quality of the food is consistently top-notch.
What sets Handy Oysters apart is the fantastic atmosphere. They even have a garden center, making it a one-stop destination for both seafood lovers and garden enthusiasts. It’s an ideal place for small events, whether it’s a wedding, reunion, or any special occasion.
In summary, Handy Oysters is a gem. Outstanding staff, fresh oysters, special events, garden center, and a welcoming atmosphere make it a 5-star destination for foodies and event planners alike. I can’t recommend it enough!
The fried oysters were perfect. Not too oily. Not too much breading. Fresh oysters were delicious too (with their homemade hot sauce). Like that they have small size plate options so you can try a little bit of everything. Got the smoked oyster dip to-go and almost ate the whole thing in one sitting. Only feedback is I wish they had some more bubbles options to pair with the fresh oysters.
My husband has a knack for finding the best fresh seafood spots in coastal towns, and this was no exception. The raw oysters were incredible, and we sat at the bar and watched them being shucked. The clam chowder and crab melt were the best I've ever had. It was a perfect shellfish trifecta. Even the coleslaw was some of the best I'd ever had. Wish we'd known about the grilled oysters before we ordered though. Just means we'll need to come back. We live in Portland, but it would be worth the trip.
This place is a family owned and operated GEM! BEST raw oysters on the west coast. Don't like raw? Try the "Crabby Jacob"... it can't be beat! Excellent local beer on tap. Tucked inside a beatiful plant nursery to boot. After eating, I enjoy wandering through the greenhouses and taking home a new leafy friend.
Had the best time at Jandy Oyster Company. They have a beautiful patio out back that is dog friendly which Elvis the wonder dog really enjoyed. We shared a dozen oyster on the half shell and the crab cheese melt. The oysters were excellent. The crab came on two toasted buns piled high with delicious crab - so good.
The location for Jandy’s is a few miles south of Tillamook. Worth the drive. Best oysters I’ve ever had. Highly recommended.
Dog Friendly! Water spot available. Such a beautiful place to walk, eat, lounge with a dog. Outside seating amongst a plush garden. Delicious food and drink. Plants and local fresh items like fresh oysters, clams, eggs, and raspberries were also available today. Wi-Fi available.
The Oysters Jacob are fantastic!
This place is south of Tillamook past the air museum.
Super friendly, fast, and competent service with a smile. Fresh oysters from their own farm. Beautiful setting outdoors weather permitting.
My wife had the crab melt and it was also excellent. Several local beers on tap, plus a cider.
Can’t wait to return!
I Searched all day for some good oysters. And good chowder. Found this place and did not disappoint. Cute place. Restaurant and nursery. Backyard sitting area with fire pit and tables. Great place to hangout and smell the ribs on the barby..Very nice staff. Welcoming and seem genuinely happy to be there. You know it's a great place when your staff is happy. The oysters were delicious and the chowder was creamy. Great little fine. I'll be back. The owner was nice. The cast iron oyster skillets for the Saturday night dinner special are Very cool..

Our experience was great from ordering with Hays. Finding the correct fridge size (ours is a small space) and the other 3 matching GE appliance. They came in earlier than expected. Installation and delivery went well. Dustin installed the.micrwav
Cool place. Oysters were absolutely delicious. I wonderful punch to the face of ocean glory.
Fish tacos were great. Good beer list. I would definitely come back of I find myself in the area again.
Dress warmly. Buy some to go as well.
Not what I was expecting. Turned out to be one of my new favorite places! Great view with little waterfalls, shells, agate and seaglass! So happy my wife and I turned down this road after passing it up so many times before!
Oh my word, what a great Butchers and a fabulous family. We stopped here to pick up some minced beef and got talking about bacon. Although I like North American bacon, I was missing UK back bacon which has more pink and less white (not streaky). Vick
So quiet and peaceful. Clean beach with barely anyone on it. People did have their dogs off leash and there are quite a few sand flies. No bathroom in the parking lot and you cannot camp here. But we really enjoyed walking here while visiting.
I brought my mom and young kids into the shop yesterday and we had so much fun! We were welcomed with open arms and made to feel comfortable to browse and just enjoy looking at Seasonsâ creations. The sweet woman that was running the shop even shar
We had a good time walking around and seeing the lighthouse, unfortunately it was very foggy that day but we were able to see the some views after a bit. The lighthouse was so fun, it was so small and cute. They were closed due to the winter season t
This 11.5 mile hike was BRUTAL. It's very challenging. We did both the summits and it took 8 hrs. There are 3 rope climbs that no joke you need the rope to go up or down...HIGHLY RECOMMEND going counter clockwise, which is the way we went thank God I
The lady there was very friendly & helpful. The outlet offers more than just sliced bread loafs; they carry limited drinks, sweets, & spread. Love being able to get organic, high quality bread for a fraction of the cost although it is a hit & miss so
What an amazing place! Beautiful sunny day in October. Nearly a secluded beach. Only saw a couple people in the few hours we were there. Several different paths to follow. The Bay on one side, the ocean on the other: Bayocean. Really cool history too
