Jameson’s Pub - Irish pub in Santa Monica - 2702 Main St, USA

This is probably one of my favorite restaurant bars in Santa Monica. Solid spot to watch a football game and a lot of other sports especially with TV’s outside on the sidewalk seating. I had their prime rib, chicken wings. Their prime rib was phenomenal and one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfect seasoning and cooked perfectly and I heard they have unlimited prime ribs on Wednesdays. The chicken wings were also delicious and good overall. The happy hour drinks are also great. I’d definitely come back and try their other items and it’s a solid spot for a fun time.

Great local spot for sports games. Food is descent too. Place fills up to max during games so if your a serious fan get there early or don't go at all. Indoor amd outdoor seating too.

We weren’t planning on it but happened to come during an LSU football game. Insanely busy! Packed shoulder to shoulder. Definitely a younger generation crowd. They didn’t card us? Most certainly many people there were not 21. There were at least 7 bartenders. They weren’t hustling. If they were they absolutely would have made more money. Took forever to get anyone’s attention. One guy was just upset at the world and skating it at the bar. In sure he was most having a bad day but they forget they are in direct spotlights in front of people.

Fun pub to grab drinks, eat, and watch sports at. They have some pretty good deals/ happy hour like all-you-can-eat tacos. The food itself isn't anything special, it's just your typical bar food. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting. Atmosphere is always lively so it can get packed and hard to find a table. Service is mediocre, but it's probably just understaffed. When ordering food & a drink, expect to pay $25-30 per person.

I didn't get food—stopped by here for a drink with old friends. (And I'm exclusively NA these days, so if you're sober—they do have Heineken 0!) They have a great list of cocktails, layered beer drinks, and a solid list of beers both in bottles and on tap, so I wish I had found this place during my drinking days! All that said, the two servers—at the bar and at the outside tables—were fantastic! They were very attentive without interrupting our (long overdue) catch-up. (And it turned out our table server went to college near where my friend and I grew up!) The inside bar was a little loud for my tastes/our purposes, but the outdoor patio was perfect! A little chilly for some, maybe, but I'm from New England! Also...2 for 1 happy hour. Hard to go wrong with that!

Omg I wish I lived near by. Did I just have the best cod dinner I ever ate? yes I did...my mom n I popped in starving for a quick lunch date. We split the cof dinner. It was not only Huge it was sooo tasty that I'm still thinking about it...I'll be back for brunch and the all you can eat w my hubby..I wonder what the prime rob is like? It looked crazy good...we will be back. Thank you for the fast a excellent friendly service 😊 😀

First & last time here. The worst experience ever!!! My family & I had lunch here thinking this would be a great experience, which ended up being a total joke. The waiter disappeared for the remainder of our experience after becoming argumentative with us when I mentioned the 45 minute wait for water, after watching him serve every table around us, yet looked me in the eye, and ignored our table. The kitchen staff brought out our food, which was cold & burnt. We never received a refill for our drinks when I asked another waiter. When I spoke to the manager (red hair guy) about the multiple issues and lack of customer service, I was told oh well it’s the holidays & there’s nothing he would do. If this is how Jameson treats their first time customers I want NO parts of it. The experience was not worth the 1 star. Don’t waste your time & money.

Wednesday nights are a blast here with live band karaoke starting at 10PM and a reverse Happy Hour. It was packed until last call with a fun and diverse crowd all having a great time. The food was delicious with 3 big pieces of fish on the Fish & Chips along with the best coleslaw I have ever had and big portion of crispy fries. The buffalo cauliflower is spicy but cooked perfect. No cover, live entertainment, good food, strong drinks and fair prices in a nice location of Santa Monica makes Jamesons Pub a must visit every time we are in this area!
