Jameson Inn Winder - Hotel in Winder - 9 Stafford St, USA

I should have known that this hotel was not appropriate when people were working on their car in the parking lot . The room was dirty beyond description. The smoke detector was detached from the wall and therefore unsafe. The linens and pillows were beyond their useful life. Do not ever stay here. The only reason we did was the proximity to Road Atlanta.

Positive: That it was in winder Negative: I did not stay here after I paid for the night. I was there about 45 mins the room was beyond disgusting. I took pictures. Men hanging around outside drinking and leering at you. The employees did not understand English. I felt I should have a refund Negative: ""

I stayed in this hotel for one night, it was supposed to be two nights, but I was too grossed out. Overall, the location is convenient, with there being plenty of fast food restaurants and a drug store across the street. However, the rooms were not great. I can tell that there is not sufficient funding for remodeling the rooms. The bathroom door in the room looked like the FBI tried to kick it down, the furniture was dirty, the floors were dirty, and the bed sheets were not clean; this was very disappointing. I feel like there needs to be an established management team here. There needs to be customer service management l, cleaning and hotel management, and otherwise. I hope you all find this review helpful, and I hope the management team will heed my review.

My husband and I show up for our reservation to an uncleaned room. The sheets and bedding were used and not even tucked in. The sink was covered in someone else’s hair. The floor had dead bugs on it and had not been swept. When we contacted the front desk about the state of the room, we were told there were no other rooms and we would have to contact the manager to request a refund. I contacted the manager and requested a refund, and no one ever reached back out to me. I was not expecting a 5-star hotel, I was only expecting a clean room for the night. In addition to the room being dirty, the parking lot was full of cops and loiterers after dark. The atmosphere did not feel safe. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever. I would give it zero stars.

Room was in bad shape. No light bulbs in a couple of the lamps so pretty dark in the room. Television stopped working about an hour after i started watching it. This place is definitely not somewhere I would normally stay, but I needed something in the area. Lesson learned. Next time I'll go one town over and stay at a decent hotel for the same price.

I stayed here for 2 weeks and I cannot be happier with my service here..Mrs Tracy at the front desk was phenomenal and very kind and friendly. You can definitely see that she enjoys her job and is very good at it. The housekeepers are also very friendly and hard workers. My room was serviced on schedule and I never needed to ask for anything. Room was also very clean and fresh. Ice machine works perfectly and the drink machine also had drinks regularly and never ran out. Mrs. Tracy made this a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel over the other hotel in Winder any day.

Check in and asked about late check-out .. told it was a fee of $50 .. next day trying to organise late check-out and a new employee says no late check-out you have to pay for a whole new night ???? This is how you treat aged international visitors that actually had to call an ambulance in the middle of the night and therefore needed extra sleep to recover before continuing their travels... Do better !!!!
