Really a nice clean park... With very well laid out children's play equipment... A nice boardwalk and clean restrooms. Only problem was they gave me a fine for a parking violation even after I had paid with my credit card at their machine. Was this a mistake due to a faulty parking machine, or did the officer notice my biracial family, and he wants to keep Southern racial hate alive? I honestly don't know, and I fear ever returning to this corrupt town. BEWARE.
It is a quiet park in front of the beach. There is a lot of vegetation and it has access to the sea, very close to one side there are some shops, restaurants and a cafe.
Nice park. Clean as well. The beach is gorgeous! It is a great place to sit, relax, and unwind. Beautiful clouds and skies, add in the sound of the water, and you have the answer to how to destress from life! Not overly crowded, which means you can just be!
So this park for the beach was pretty cool. It's $2.50 an hour which the only way to pay is with a debit card (they do have someone checking the parking to see if you paid). There's a kids playground, a clean restroom with changing area (at lease on the women's side), showers to rinse off outside. Looking at the beach to the right is a pizza place and coldstones ice cream. So it's an excellent location but I would get there early. The beach is clean and beautiful. There were lifeguards there today I'm not sure if they are there everyday.
The brand new playground is finally open at James H. Nance Park, it’s called the Mikey Goodwin Playground and it’s absolutely gorgeous! The old playground that was there before had deteriorated, unfortunately beyond repair so they installed brand new playground equipment in place. I gave it a four star review due to one flaw, there are no sunshade canopies above the playground equipment, which in my opinion is a huge flaw, given that we are in Florida where the sun is blazing hot a majority of the year! If they could install the canopies above the playground equipment, it would absolutely be five stars! Equipment is beautiful, there are swings, slides, musical equipment, communication boards, picnic tables (those are covered), restrooms, sand volleyball courts, metered parking available and the best part is that your just a few steps away from the beach.
Beautiful view with a boardwalk. End of 192 and A1A in Indialantic, FL 32903, aka Indialantic By The Sea.
This beach is clean and well kept. Parking is metered (they accept credit cards). There are bathrooms and a changing area that was surprisingly clean. They have an outdoor shower as well.
The beach itself was mostly empty since it was cool outside but still a great spot if you want the beach without the touristy crowds.
One of the best beaches in Brevard County, with a nice playground (plus a new addition under construction and nearly completed), restrooms with changing area, several outdoor showers, and large pavilion area with picnic tables. You can swim here and not get shredded by coquina rocks, which is not the case as you head north to Satellite/Patrick area at a number of parks or beaches with public access. Between posted hours, lifeguards are on duty within the boundaries of the parks property. Parking on the weekends is 2.50/hr, using the several terminals or by downloading the Passport parking app, which allows you to use debit, credit or Apple Pay. There are some great restaurants and shops within walking distance and of course, the original Bizarros Pizza, which beachside natives and locals automatically associate with “the boardwalk”.
