Beautiful property very conveniently located. Our two bay view rooms gave us the best view of the sunrise and the beach and overlooking the pool. Spacious rooms with vaulted ceilings and very nicely furnished and clean. Our event room staff was very attentive. We enjoyed both breakfasts and lunches at their Beachside Restaurant. Excellent service and food. The valets (Wilman and Jonathan) and hotel staff, (Edward, Brayan, Christina and Ana were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
This is a very nice older hotel that is in a great location near Venice Beach. The beach is a 10 minute walk. The rooms overlooking the Marina Del Rey marina have a great view. This is one of the quietest spots in the city. Had brunch there several times and the food was good. especially liked the breakfast tacos. The wait staff were very attentive adding to the drinking and dining experience.
I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past due to my appreciation for the scenic views it offers. However, during my most recent stay in the spring of 2023, I had an extremely negative experience. Despite booking rooms for four people, I was not informed that there would be a private 16th birthday party taking place, resulting in the entire restaurant and pool area being inaccessible to me. Additionally, on the following morning, which happened to be Mother's Day, I was informed that breakfast service was unavailable in the usual dining area, but I could have it delivered to my room instead. This level of service left me dissatisfied and questioning the quality of the establishment. In response to these issues, I escalated my concerns to a supervisor since there was no manager available at the time. The supervisor was understanding and offered a percentage refund as well as provided me with confirmation of this resolution. However, despite waiting for several weeks, I never received the promised refund. Furthermore, my attempts to contact the manager, who was consistently unavailable, proved futile. I called several times and she was always at a meeting, and never called back or sent an e-mail. As a result, the promised discount appeared to be nothing more than empty words.
We needed a place to stay quickly after the apartment building we were in had a fire. It said pet friendly so I assumed that also meant cats, so when we checked in they informed us it was only dogs. But they were nice and understanding, they let us check in anyways cause we and our cat were so stressed from the fire and needed a place to rest. Just a few suggestions they should consider the wording and just say dog friendly, that would remove any confusion and there was a corn hole game on a the lawn in right in front of our patio door, people using it yelling and screaming was not peaceful and that close to your sliding glass door didn't provide privacy if you wanted to keep the curtains open for sunlight, maybe move it farther away. I loved the shower, the bed was comfortable and the room coffee was perfect. They have a great restaurant too! This is a great place to stay, in a great area. I highly recommend.
We are Hilton Diamond member and we booked 5 nights here since we like the location. I should admit that the room more reminds motel rather than Hilton room. ||Cleanliness level - 1/5.||The main point - they don’t have duvet covers. At all. They use 2 sheets and put the blanket between. Blankets are dirty with some marks from previous guests. And of course during the night this may be touching your body. I asked to give a normal duvet cover but they don’t have it. ||This is not all the issues with cleaning. I think they basically lack cleaning staff. Rooms are cleaned “on request” - ok, we are not creating the mess and asked the cleaning for the 3rd day. We left hotel at 10 am, had a chat with the front desk about the upcoming cleaning… how surprised we were when came back at 9 pm and realised that no one ever touched the room. Bed was not done, towels were not touched. ||Of course they are “very sorry”, but housekeeping “left a 5 pm”. ||The toilet has no toilet brush. And barely flushing. So if you travel as a couple there is a high risk of enjoying the nature of digestive system for 3-4 days. And you will be lucky if the toilet will not be stuck - plumbing is too much outdated. We asked for toilet brush - receptionist kindly promised to “lend us one”. He did, buy it was without holder…. Not sure what i supposed to do with it after usage?||I would say we didn’t expect a lot from this hotel, literally. We expected normal sleep in clean bed and normal toilet & shower. You will not get it in this hotel.
The view was nice and the weather perfect. We stayed for two nights. Traffic in the area is congested as usual for LA county. We went to SoFi and watched the Broncos beat the Chargers We had breakfast on the patio of the hotel restaurant both days, |Food was good and service was great.
Diamond member, business traveler and I spend over 200 nights a year in hiltons and I was very disappointed in this hotel, twice. ||First and foremost, one of the aspects that struck me as unusual during my stay was the housekeeping policy. At the Jamaica Bay, housekeeping services were only available upon request. This struck me as odd, especially when I stay at the Hilton Garden Inn located across the street provides daily housekeeping without guests needing to request it. Given that both hotels are part of the Hilton family, it seems inconsistent to have such different policies on housekeeping.| |Another issue I encountered was the room amenities. When I attempted to iron my clothes, I found a very small ironing board and iron in my room (Room 204). The ironing equipment was more suited for a child or a Barbie doll, making it impractical for a guest who wishes to iron their clothing properly.| |Furthermore, my attempt to use the vending machine near my room was met with disappointment when I found a handwritten sign that appeared to be hastily written, indicating that the machine was "not working." The sign's quality did not reflect the level of professionalism I expect from a hotel.| |I also contemplated ordering room service, but I was deterred by the need to use a separate credit card for payment, and no option to charge it to the room, which seemed somewhat inconvenient. I decided not to proceed with the order as I found the process less straightforward than what I've experienced at other hotels.| |In addition to these concerns, the water pressure in the shower was extremely low, which made for an unsatisfying bathing experience. There was no stopper in the bathroom sink, making it difficult to complete basic tasks like washing my face or shaving.| |Another issue was the noisy air conditioning in my room. The loud noise made it challenging to get a restful night's sleep, which is crucial for an enjoyable stay.| |I also observed that the stairwell on the inside was closed, and I am not certain about fire safety codes, but I believe that even during maintenance or refurbishment, guests should have access to a fire exit.| |Lastly, as a regular walker, I appreciate the opportunity to go for a morning walk. I often return to the hotel to enjoy a cup of coffee in the lobby. However, I noticed that the paper coffee cups provided were inadequate for holding hot coffee. Providing Styrofoam cups or sleeves for the paper cups would greatly improve this minor issue.||I reported all this to the hotel and let them know I would be returning the following week. The GM then put me in a corner room, no view and no balcony. But I did get a fruit plate!||I won’t be back to this hotel
Superb location, what a find. Beautiful restaurant on the water. Nice clean hotel. Good sized bathrooms and rooms. It would be nice if they could lose the brown 80's wallpaper and brighten up the rooms with a nice coat of white paint. Didn't have a water view, would pay for that next time. Overall a great value hotel

Couldn't ask for more. Staff was amazingly friendly, and when I left an important belonging behind, they were able to help me get it back efficiently and safely. We've all heard stories of hotels "losing" items. It would be so easy for them to say "n
Clean space, LOVELY staff. I wanted to put a word in for KATHLEEN (at the front desk) & Instructor Laura. Kathleen was extremely kind, caring, & helpful - she made it work so my partner & I would have a great first time experience. I hope management
You can purchase an all day parking pass (good for 24 hours) or hourly. Probably gets much busier during weekends (beach valley ball?, boating) but weekday visit presented a moment for a peaceful stop by the water. There are a couple spots to eat if

Wonderful brunch with a view of Marina Del Rey harbor! Highly recommend the pork belly sando because the pretzel croissant bun was unique, fresh and delicious.
Great Bar! Great for Irish holidays to visit. A small minority of people are protesting against the turtle race, but it's awesome and they have no imagination! :). They just yell and shout the loudest but don't protest the real issues of the world. I

I think in every instance when wanting to eat and looking at reviews you have to weigh out why a person can leave a 5 here and leave a 5 at an actual elegant restaurant and they be held in the same regard. I was in need of a bite of food with no fril
