Most of the taqueria in the area closed quite early, so you only have a few options to choose from after 6 pm. I like to try out new taqueria each time I'm here, and this was the one on the list. I didn't have too high of an expectation since this is more of a tourist area. The tacos were okay, I had birria and carnitas for the meat. The carnitas were pretty dry and flavorless in the mouth, so I had to drench it with sauce, which I don't like doing if the meat itself is good. The birria taco was also dry and not much flavor to it, which is surprising since birria should be the most juicy out of other meat options.
The burrito was huge, and I would say it was at least a pound worth of food. I asked for no rice, and the inside felt like it was mostly filled with sour cream and lettuce. The asada didn't have much flavor or texture to it.
I would say this place is reasonable priced and the portion is good. If you're just looking for a place to fill you up, then this place will do the job. If you're looking for some tasty tacos and burrito, then you should look elsewhere. There are parking spots out in the front, and Google maps will only guide you to the parking lot entrance. So you have to keep going all the way in, and it'll be on the right.
Made me feel like I was back at home in LA. Hahaha! I got the Asada tacos. They were very dry, especially the tortilla, they almost had a crunch to them. The meat has a good flavor but is dry. The salsa bar is amazing and delicious! I'd come back and ask to have softer tortillas. Talvez se le pasaron al chef. Lol!
Service was friendly enough. I definitely walked in and expected good Mexican food. The atmosphere and staff just gave you the idea that it was going to be good Mexican food. It lacked flavor on every meal we have gotten from here. You had to add salsa or hot sauce or just anything, so it wasn't so bland. Food was decently portioned. I was full from just the burrito, and I have a decent appetite.
Tried the taquitos de pollo and carne milanesa. Both were good. Milanesa does become a tad sweet due to flour coating. Guacamole was good. Salsa bar could use a "mild" option.
This place is 100% authentic. The food is delicious, and the portions are decent. The prices are reasonable, but I would use cash if you have it. Otherwise, they charge 75 cents for the transaction fee. Oh... best part about this place-- they have a legit salsa bar. The hours have recently changed: they're open 11am-8pm Tuesday -Sat (closed Sunday and Monday). There is a customer bathroom.
It's a very nice place. Customer service is great. I couldn't do 3.5 stars for food. Tried shrimp burritos and shrimp tacos. They were decently good in taste. Pricing is decent as well
Very authentic Mexican food, good service ,very clean, and the prices are very decent. We tried different items on the menu and they’re all very good. I would definitely comeback for more.
An other good place to taste Mexican food, so delicious, we eat different dishes. We are family of 13 and everything was phenomenal, place very clean and the bathroom to. Come and enjoy.
Highly recommend this place!! My family and I loved it. Itâs a bit small for a huge group but we made it work and the staff got us extra chairs! Great customer service! I love the vegan options. The vegan enchiladas were so good. ð
The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
