A true Tustin landmark and staple in the community. One of the best Mexican food restaurants in orange county. A family owned and operated restaurant with top notch Mexican cuisine. I highly reccomend this place. If you are passing through the area or just craving Mexican food done traditional and right, then come to Jalepanõs in Tustin!

It’s almost always great but this is a joke!! This is what my big shell taco salad looked like when I got home. Ordered shredded chicken and got chunks of fatty chicken. So sloppy. Honestly disgusting! I should have stuck to the torts (my normal order) don’t have time to go back, I’d hope they’d take care of it but they need to know someone in the back is lacking in regard to their food preparation!!!

Everyone always has their own idea of what chips and salsa should taste like. In my opinion this place has the best chips and salsa in Orange county. The crunchy tacos are excellent and you can't beat the beans and rice. All in all, a wonderful meal.

This is a solid 4 star restaurant. I had the nachos and my husband had the carnitas plate. Both were good. The nachos were a little messy so keep that in mind when ordering. Mild salsa was basically blended tomatoes, but my husband said the spicier ones were okay. Overall I might come again if I was in the area but wouldn't go out of my way.

Went to Jalapeños to try out a new hard shell taco and I was not disappointed. They have all the different types of protein and I tried 4 different tacos" shredded beef, carnitas, AL pastor and shrimp. Each taconwas delicious and four tacos did the trick. The staff is awesome and friendly and the prices are just right.

This place had rarely decent pricing as well as great serving sizes. I highly recommend getting some tasty Mexican food here.

First visit here, Wife had the Carne Asada Burrito, I had the Tacos Carne Asada and a Tacos Pastor, The Carne asada Tacos were bland and tasted like stew meat. I was so disappointed at this as they are my favorite Tacos. Wife said her burrito was delicious. Fast friendly service, clean fast paced place. I'll return but not for the Asada Tacos.

Cool place. The have the meat and everything out for you to see which is nice. Massive selection of food items. I got the Chiliquiles, which were good but did lack flavor. The portion they gave me was MASSIVE! I'll probably still go back and try more. Also the employees were super friendly.
