Jalapeños Fairhaven - Mexican restaurant in Bellingham - 1007 Harris Ave, USA

Fun place for dinner, great waiting staff. We had a group of 8 and they were patient with us for ordering and all of our questions. Food came out fast, hot and tasted great. Would recommend.

Delicious! Had the nachos- smaller size fed two of us. They brought chips and salsa out first, which is always a nice touch at a Mexican restaurant. Everyone was super friendly and efficient. The shooter(pictured) was awesomely tasty-I can't remember the name- Baileys, tequila Rose, grenadine,etc. We will be back!

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch today and it was great. We got chips and salsa to start with for free. He got a strawberry and peach margarita and I got a mango daiquiri so yummy. I got cheese quesadillas and my boyfriend got a chicken enchiladas. The portion sizes were good and great value for money. The service and atmosphere was also wonderful.

Ate lunch here with a few friends, we had a fantastic meal and received exceptional service! Our server was friendly, attentive, and gave helpful feedback about the dishes we asked about. She immediately brought us chips and salsa, which were refreshing and perfectly seasoned. All of our meals were tasty and the portions were huge. Two of us ordered the Vegetarian Taco Salad, they happily accommodated dietary restrictions (my friend’s vegan). Although I wanted vegetarian, I prefer refried beans to black beans, and this change was a nonissue. Refried beans and rice are a staple, Jalapeños makes them right! The salad was loaded with seasonal veggies that were cooked perfectly, the dish had great flavor. In my opinion, these meals were shareable, I couldn’t finish half my salad. One person in our group ordered Fajitas and said they’re her go-to, the other ordered Beef Tacos and enjoyed them. Meals are fairly priced, Taco Salad was $10 (lunch special) and the other meals were $18-20, so I’d suggest ordering from the lunch menu if you’re on a budget since they have many options! This place has a calm yet fun vibe, the music wasn’t too loud so we could all hear each other. We sat in a booth, which was roomy and comfy enough to accommodate four. Everything was clean (washroom, dishes, cutlery, our table, etc.). I ate here once 5 years ago and I had a great experience then, it’s nice to see they’ve kept up the great work providing excellent service and tasty food at a fair price. I’ve always wanted to dine on their cute patio in the middle of Fairhaven. I think this restaurant is better suited for adult diners. Had almost like a bar atmosphere. Ordered a virgin margarita, which was huge and very refreshing on a hot day. Got a combination plate (enchilada and taco) to split. Portions are huge! The food was good.

Service was great and friendly. No Wifi. Got food poisoning that hit a couple hours later. Probably the shrimp-tacos. Great response and follow-up by the restaurant-chain to track down and figure out the source of food contamination. they seem to take this very seriously -as they should.

Ordered jalapeños popper, combo of taco and burrito. Poppers tasted good. Burrito and taco was average tasting.

The quesadillas were good with Carne asada and the chips and salsa were tasty.
